[Ch 24] Decision

"Y/n!! Are you listening to me at least?" A familiar voice screamed at me in a fairly angry tone. I was so immersed in my thoughts that I forgot to be out with Sarada and Chocho.
"U-uh, sorry... What were you talking about?" I ask embarrassed.

"Y/n I understand that it's a difficult moment for you, but you aren't in the center of the world! I mean, I have my problems too and for this reason I need to tell them to someone, express myself. Friends are made to listen and support each other, right?"

"What are these problems?"
"You shouldn't even have asked, I warned you" says Sarada and I look at her in confusion.
"Wait, you mean-" she nodded and Chocho continued my phrase.

"That's right, the new editions of the chips have come out!" she explains, with heart-shaped eyes. She and her beloved fries are really made for each other.
"So what's the issue? Aren't you happy there are new ones?"

"Yeah, but I don't know where to start!! There are so many that I could even eat the whole shop" Chocho said desperate.
"You've gotta be kidding me" Both of me and Sarada face-palmed and sighed.
"You know what, Chocho? Let's go to buy all of them so you can taste them"

We went to the shop, I opened the door and saw the boys. "Hey guys, what'cha doin'?" asked Sarada to them.
"Nothing special, we were hungry so we decided to buy something to eat" replied Lee showing us the soft drinks and the chips they bought.

"Y/n-chan" Boruto called me.
"Yes?" I simply said and forced to smile, but when he notice that, he hugged me. I was shocked by his suddenly move, but I felt so safe in his embrace so I put my arms around him, too.
"I'm here if you need me." he said.
"We're all here if you need us" with that all of my friends joined the hug.

We stayed like this for a while until someone coughed making us to turn around. "Oh, it's only you" I said and sighed in relief.
"Father told me to tell you to come home right now" he explained and went out.

"What? Why?" I asked haywire. "I'm with my friends now, is it an emergency?" I continued.
"I don't know, just do what he ordered"
"Well, I guess I don't have any choice. See you tomorrow guys! Thank you for everything, it was nice to be with you"

I was following Shinki, but then Inojin grabbed me by my wrist. "Is there something wrong Y/n? Are you... Hiding a secret from us?" asked the blonde boy.
"Of course not... Why would I?"
"What a drag, Inojin leave her alone" said Shikadai trying to defend me, but his help was useless.

"Don't make fun of me Y/n, because we all know that we have known each other for years." Inojin said tightening the grip.
At this point I started to cry, I couldn't take that anymore. I was so stressed, I didn't know what to do, the only thing I could do was crying. I'm so weak.

"D-do you wanna really know what I'm hiding, I-inojin? I will leave the Hidden leaf, happy now!?" I finally confessed.
"You're what?" he asked with winded eyes.
"Yeah, I will move to the Sand village and live with dad and Shinki." I said wiping away my tears.

"But Y/n, just because you found out who your father is doesn't mean you need to leave Konoha. Why don't you stay there?" Chocho demanded.
"You see, I'm a jinchuuriki. I have the one-tailed beast inside me, it explain the mark on my neck, so for my 'safety' I will train and try to control its power"

"Father is waiting Y/n" said my brother.
"Yeah righ-"
"Wait! We're coming too" Boruto cut me off.
"Yeah, we will keep you company as we don't know how long you'll remain here."

"That's a great idea, Boruto and Mitsuki! Besides it's my house too, I can invite anyone if I want to" said Sarada.
"Tsk" Shinki muttered and started walking. "Don't mind him, he's always like this."
