[Ch 18] The Chunin Exam: The Tournament, 2nd Round

Y/n's POV

"How's Chocho? After what happened I think she's badly wounded, she really engaged in the battle" I asked worried but proud at the same time.

"She's fine, she doesn't have much chakra left but she still manages to talk and stand" Sarada reassured me. "Oh, that's great. Did she tell you anything?"

"Yeah... She said Shinki is cool" I mentally facepalmed and we both laughed. "I think her definition of 'Cool' is different from mine." "By that you mean Boruto, huh?" she teased me.

"What? N-no stop it, c'mon the second round is about to start" I said trying to avoid what she just said. I was so frustrated.

We were walking towards the others and then I saw Boruto. I immediately blushed and looked away. "Uh? What's wrong Y/n-chan?" asked the blonde-haired boy.

"it's nothing heheh..." "If you say so, I'm going now, cheer for me!" "I will". He gave a me smile and I returned it back. OH GOD THAT SMILE "Okay then, see ya!"

When he and Shikadai finally left, I sighed in rilief and Sarada started to laugh again. "Stooooop!". Mitsuki and Inojin were confused so Inojin asked what was going on.

"It's about him, right Y/n?" "Oh c'mon not you too, Chocho!". They kept teasing me, but the boys were still confused. "Him? Who?".

The two girls looked at them with a 'are-you-serious' face and then Sarada said "Him=Boruto" "Boys don't understand anything"

"Well, at least we're not fat". Chocho was about to punch Inojin but I quickly took her hands. "Okay okay calm down everyone, and that's body shaming, Inojin".

"Anyways how's your relationship with Boruto?" "Sarada really!? We're not even in a relationship! Plus I'm t.h.i.r.t.e.e.n.  I'm going to watch the battle" with that I left.

1st battle: Boruto VS Shikadai

They started to fight, both of them were concentrated. Boruto created five clones and attempted to attack him again, while Shikadai was trying to take his shadow.

'Five? Until a few days ago he was only able to make four...there's something he's hiding'. I activated my Sharingan to observe him better, but I couldn't see anything.

Boruto was ahead, he was about to punch his opponent, but Shikadai had blocked him. "Well I'd say I won. Do you give up?" I was cheering for Shikadai and Boruto had noticed it.

Then he made another clone defeating him. 'What the hell...?'. I was happy for him but i couldn't belive that he did that without even doing a spell.

"And the winner is Boruto of the leaf village!"

The two came towards me "Both of you were great" "Well, I lost-" "And I won!" . I put my hand on his shoulder I said "Maybe next time".

Then I looked at the blonde one and smiled, but it wasn't a real smile. "Now is our turn Y/n". I turned around and saw my cousin. "I guess so?" "Let's go!"

2nd battle: Sarada VS Y/n

"Sarada Uchiha against her cousin Y/n Uchiha both of the leaf village! Begin!"

"Y/n-chan only because we're related I'm not going to lose" "Me neither". I prepared myself and took some shurikens. "Shall we start?" she nodded and we both turn on our Sharingan.

"GO SARADA! GO Y/N!" yelled auntie making us embarrassed. Sarada wasn't focused so I took the occasion to attack her. I cut her arm, she started losing blood.
