Konoha Teacher Society Volume 1

The Eccentric Suna

A new day has fallen at Konoha High. A lot of things happened quickly in just one day. Students were shocked to be informed that their teacher, Sasuke left suddenly left without a word. Girls were dissapointed and some even cried as they loved Sasuke and admired him. Even though they knew Sasuke had someone, they always offered free lunch and gifts to him which was rejected every time. 

At the staff room, the teachers are anxiously waiting for the arrival of the three teachers from Suna. Because they were from Suna, it brought curiousity and interest among the teachers. Rumours had it that Suna people were very different. If Konoha and Suna were to be compared, Konoha would be the sun and Suna, the moon. The only person who were familiar with the Suna was Shikamaru as he learned through his girlfriend, Temari.

"Hey Shikamaru. Are Suna people scary?" asked Naruto.

"Hey Shikamaru. Are Suna people friendly?" asked Lee.

"Hey Shikamaru. Are there any cute girls at Suna?" asked Kiba.

"Shut up. Ask them yourself." sighed Shikamaru as he decided to ignore his friends.

Suddenly, the door creaked open and three figures appeared. A young lady with blonde hair wearing a black blouse, a young man with bright red hair and only had a sullen expression and a strange man whose face was painted in purple. They were definately a bunch of strange people.

"Uh, welcome to Konoha. Mind introducing yourselves?" said Naruto.

"I'm Temari. You've met me before so I don't have to say anything else" said Temari as she crossed her arms.

"Gaara." muttered Gaara as he stared at Naruto.

"Kankuro. Let's work together huh?"

The rest of the teachers introduced themselves and they were brief on basic things about Konoha High.

"Anyway, you guys have classes in the afternoon so you can take a look around the school first" said Sakura.

"Shikamaru, you're doing it." said Neji.

"Fine, fine" sighed Shikamaru as he lead the three around the school.

Teachers and students alike took time to get used to these Suna teachers. They had a different vibe around them and their teaching methods were rather unique. However, the students seem to had no problem adjusting to their classes and the school days became normal again. But, teachers were more concern about Sasuke. Every day, a group of them would meet up and attempt to enter the Suna District but they were always stopped by clansmen. It has come to conclusion that they needed help from the Suna teachers.

"Shikamaru, please ask them" whispered Sakura.

"Why do I have to do it" sighed Shikamaru.

"Because you're closer to them" whispered Naruto.

"How troublesome" sighed Shikamaru as he went over to the desks where the Suna teachers were seated.

"Oh, Shikamaru. What's up?" said Kankuro.

"Um, is there any way to enter the Suna District?" asked Shikamaru.

"Well, you are an outsider so nope" said Kankuro.

"So I can't get in no matter what?"

"There is a way." said Gaara.

"You can follow us" said Temari as she smiled at Shikamaru.

"But what if a large group of people wants to go there.."

"What do you mean?" questioned Kankuro.

In the end, Naruto and Sakura came along and the three discussed their current situation. 

"I see, I think that's alright. You're just visiting someone at the hospital right?" said Kankuro.

"Y-yeah.." said Sakura

"Meet us after school then" said Temari.

"Thanks guys!" said Naruto as he smiled. However, his smile froze as his eyes caught Gaara's. He always felt strange whenever he was around the Suna people. It was as if they were constantly staring at him all the time. 

"Um, Gaara. Why are you staring at me?" said Naruto.

"Nothing" said Gaara as he continued to stare at him. Naruto felt annoyed and continued to stare back at him. There was a brief moment of silence.

"ARGH! I can't stand this! I'll probably get a phobia of staring!" yelled Naruto as he hurriedly went back to his desk. Shikamaru and Sakura laughed however they noticed that the Suna teachers stared at them as well. They felt uncomfortable so they said goodbye and returned to their desks.

Evening has arrived and the five of them have assembled at the school gate. They started their journey along the usual cobblestone path, leading to a wide road full of cars. They then crossed many roads and finally reached at an intersection point. There was a large gate at one road that had words engraved "WELCOME TO SUNA". 

"Stick close to us when we are passing the gates" whispered Temari. Shikamaru, Sakura and Naruto nodded as they followed behind the Suna teachers.

Gaara was seen opening a small door beside the gate as he mumbled something. Apparently, there was a guard standing over there and Gaara explained the situation to them, in another language. They were then allowed to pass the door. As soon as they step foot inside, the three stood stunned. It was like a ghost town. There were buildings and houses but they were empty. The roads had tiny cracks and a silent wind blew.

"I-is this the same country?" asked Sakura.

"It definately is" said Temari.

They soon followed a path and reach a giant building that had "YOZAKAWA HOSPITAL" written on it. The hospital too, looked quite secluded and barely had any people around. It felt as if it was a secret hospital hidden away from the eyes of the public. 

"Well, we helped you get here so we'll go now" said Temari.

"Oh, Thank you and see you guys tommorow!" said Naruto as he waved. But, he caught Gaara staring at him again. The Suna teachers have left.

"I swear, either Gaara wants to kill me or he has a secret crush on me" joked Naruto as the three entered the building.

"Excuse me, may I know what are you here for?" asked a nurse.

"We are here to visit Uchiha Itachi" answered Sakura.

"I'm sorry but only specific people are allowed to visit him" said the nurse.

"What?!" shouted Naruto as Hinata tried to maintain himself from getting violent.

"Calm down, Naruto" shrugged Shikamaru

"I understand, sorry for interrupting miss" said Sakura as the four of them left the hospital.

The four of them are sitting at a bench outside the hospital. Naruto is sulking, Shikamaru is thinking something, Sakura is checking something on a phone and Hinata looks at Naruto worrily. 

"Sasuke never replied my texts since yesterday" sighed Sakura as she kept her phone.

"Hey Hinata, can't we use your Hyuuga privilege to get in?" asked Shikamaru

"I can't. It's quite dangerous.." said Hinata

"This means only one thing!" shouted Naruto.

"What?" said Sakura and Shikamaru.

"We break into the hospital!" said Naruto as a mischievious smirk lit up his face.
