Konoha Teacher Society Volume 1

This is Konoha High!

Eventually, after many weeks since that incident students spotted Konohamaru and Hanabi behaving more "normal" than usual. Naruto felt relieved that the two stopped fighting with each other and instead, somehow got along well. The school days at Konoha High resumed and days were normal. However, it was an important month for the students as it was time for their year-end examinations.

Naruto as well as all of his co-workers were busy preparing the students. It was one of the most hectic months for the teachers at Konoha High. Some teachers had extra classes to teach, some worked overtime to mark papers, some were busy reviewing the exams that the students were about to take. It was certainly, exhausting.

Finally, the day has arrived. The day the exams begin. It was held for two weeks for seniors, one week for the juniors. There was a tight and serious atmosphere around Konoha High. For students, it was a challenge but for teachers, this was the time to relax. All of their hardwork were poured into these students so they had nothing more to offer them.

"You think your students are gonna be alright?" asked Sakura.

"My only worry is Konohamaru. He sleeps during class all the time!" said Naruto.

"But he has Hanabi around to teach him right?" said Hinata.

"That reminds me, I've heard students saying that they secretly like each other" giggled Ino.

"School life is so youthful!" said Lee.

"Yosh! After the exams are over, let's all have a drink at Ichiraku!" said Naruto.

"There, again?" sighed Shikamaru.

"Don't be like that, Ichiraku has some of the best beer!" said Kiba.

"Oh, then can I invite Sasuke?" said Sakura.

Everyone turned their attention to Sakura.

"Sasuke? You finally found him?" asked Naruto.

"Um, I wanted to say this to all of you but you guys were really busy so..."

"So, did that guy said any reason why he left?" asked Kiba

"Actually, he decided to stop teaching. He's going to take over the Uchiha Mining Business so he's been travelling around the world" answered Sakura.

"That's it? And I thought it was something more serious.." sighed Shikamaru.

"He actually misses teaching so he promised to come over to Konoha High once in a while." said Sakura.

"Anyway, we've agreed to meet up at Ichiraku after the exams right? Let's all interrogate Sasuke then!" grinned Naruto.

The examinations continued day after day. Finally, it ended. The teachers could hear cheers of joy as the students left their classrooms. School ended and teachers complied the papers together. Their next struggle awaits them, marking thousands of papers.

"Since when did we had that many students" sighed Kiba as he stacked the papers into a corner.

"Stop being lazy and start bringing some home" said Shikamaru.

"Like you would say that!" yelled Kiba.

"Guys, I'll be going to Ichiraku first! Meet you guys later!" said Ino with her arms around Sai.

"Order extra beer alright?" answered Kiba.

"Tonight is gonna be a lonely night for us bachelors" sighed Lee

"My girlfriend's not coming so.." said Shikamaru.

"I don't want to hear anything from you" said Kiba.

Night has fallen and Ichiraku has been reserved for the Konoha teachers. Slowly, the restuarant gets filled with them and there were sounds of glasses clinking against each other filled with laughter. Everyone gathered together for the first time and thus, people became excited and started to drink. When Sasuke appeared, the teachers welcomed him with open arms but suddenly he was pulled to a corner where he was interrogated by Naruto, Shikamaru and Kiba who were obviously drunk.

Naruto and Kiba tested each other who could drink the most, Chouji almost tore down the store by eating almost everything Ichiraku could offer, Neji and Tenten had to leave early due to Lee knocking out early after a slight sip of alcohol, Shikamaru, Shino and Sasuke quietly observed the competition between Naruto and Kiba while all the girls sat in the corner for their own "private girl talk".

It was a joyous night to celebrate. The Konoha High was a very interesting place for Naruto. He realized that he has been working for almost a year and so many things happened. He learnt a lot about his students, co-workers and even met the love of his life. Naruto wished that he could continue working here forever.

But he knew that, forever can never last as he clutched on a piece of paper hidden in his pocket.

I hope that you have enjoyed reading this long series. I actually never expected a lot from this so I was quite surprised at the response I've recieved. I'll still continue to write more and perhaps create a Konoha Teacher Society Volume 2? Until then, :)
