The Hyuuga's Approval

The sky turned orange and it was time for the teachers to leave work. There were still students around, doing club activities but just a small number. It was about 5:30pm and Naruto and Hinata started walking out of the school. However, Naruto could see a silhouette standing at the gate. As the two walked closer, they were greeted by a tall man with long, black hair wearing a brown blouse with his arms crossed. It was Hyuuga Neji, the cousin of Hinata and he was well-known for his strict behaviour when teaching.

'Neji nii-san?" said Hinata as she wondered what he was doing there.

"I've come to talk to Naruto." said Neji with his eyes fixed on Naruto's. Naruto could see that he wasn't here for casual talk. He had a serious face.

"W-What do you want Neji?" 

"Fight me Naruto. I will see if you are worthy enough to date a Hyuuga!" shouted Neji as he pulled Hinata way from Naruto's arms.

"Huh? Fight you?"

"Hyuugas shouldn't date unworthy scum like you" said Neji as he clenched his fists.

"Neji niisan...Naruto-kun..." said Hinata softly as she had no choice but to watch the two.

"Alright then! Let's do this shall we?" said Naruto with a smirk on his face as he threw a punch towards Neji. His punch was then blocked by Neji's arm and Neji struck a blow with his other elbow onto Naruto's chest.

"Tch! Not bad!" said Naruto as he started to back away from Neji, touching his chest. He then clenched his fists and ran towards Neji. The two exchanged fists and started a fight in front of the school gate. 

"Naruto-kun! Neji-niisan! S-stop fighting..." said Hinata worrily.

However, Neji seemed to overpower Naruto as he managed to deliver two punches to Naruto's face and stomach making Naruto fall to the ground. 

"Hmph, you are too weak." said Neji as he crossed his arms, looking down at Naruto.

"You bastard..." said Naruto angrily as he wiped the blood on his mouth.

"Naruto-kun! You're bleeding!" said Hinata as she quickly rushed to Naruto's aid but she was stopped by Neji.

"L-let me go Neji-niisan..."

"No. I will not allow you to see Naruto until he proves to me that he is worthy of you." said Neji as he walked away, dragging Hinata along with him. Naruto was left alone with a sullen face. "So I gotta beat him to get her back huh?" muttered Naruto as he looked at his hands. It was bruised up and it definately hurt. 

"Naruto! What happened to you?" said a familiar voice from behind. It was Sakura who came running towards Naruto in shock.

"Heh, just a personal brawl with Neji" said Naruto with a smile, ensuring Sakura that he was alright.

"You idiot." said Sasuke as he slowly walked towards Naruto.

"Don't tell me you can't even protect the one you love" said Sasuke as he helped Naruto to his feet.

"Heh, how about you try it Sasuke?" said Naruto as he glanced at Sakura. He knew there was a relationship going on between the two.

"Hmph" 

"So what caused you to fight with Neji?" asked Sakura.

"Cause Hinata's one of the Hyuuga, I need to prove Neji that I'm "worthy" to date her" pouted Naruto.

"Ah, those complicated family matters huh.."

"Don't worry, I'll definately win her back" said Naruto with a confident smile even though his face is covered with bruises.

Another day has arrived at Konoha High but today, another interesting rumour started spreading around the school. The hot topic this time was, "Naruto-sensei all bandaged up." Naruto came to school with his arms bandaged up and a large plaster on his cheek. Anyone could tell he had a big fight with someone. 

It was tough morning for Naruto as he had to answer the same question many times, "What happened to you?!" Soon, all the teachers knew what happened and today, Naruto didn't spoke a word to Hinata at all. The two didn't even exchanged glances at each other but deep inside they both knew that Naruto had to try his best to win Neji and Hinata had to do her best to quietly cheer him on. 

It was around lunchtime when all the students started crowding the school garden. It was Naruto and Neji. Cheers and boos that were heard and it definately had the whole school watching. They were already fighting ever since the bell rang. 

"Come on, what else are you made of?" said Neji as Naruto stood up again. Each time Neji threw a punch, Naruto kept getting up and refused to lose. "This guy.." thought Neji. "Why does he keep standing up?" 

"I won't give up Neji.." said Naruto as he clenched his fists. His bandaged arms were stained with blood and his feet were shaking. "Go Naruto-sensei!" shouted one of the students." 

"Why..would go so far even if it might cost your life?" said Neji amazed at Naruto. He stopped attacking him.

"Because...I love Hinata. That's why" said Naruto softly as he walked slowly towards Neji. 

"You...."

"STOP THIS FIGHTING THIS INSTANCE!" shouted a familiar voice from afar. It was Tsunade, one of the superiors of Konoha High.

"T-tsunade-sama? What are you doing here?!" said Neji in shock as he didn't expect one of the superiors to be dropping by the school.

"Oh shit" said Naruto as he looked at how the students quickly vanished as Tsunade walked towards them.

"If students are fighting with each other, that's normal. BUT, you two are TEACHERS!" shouted Tsunade with her arms crossed.

"Sorry, I'll take responsibility" said Naruto as he bowed to apologize.

"You two are coming with me to the office!" said Tsunade angrily.

"Look at the two of you, you're like crap!" said Tsunade as she sat at her grand desk. Naruto and Neji were sitting at the two chairs placed in front of the desk.

The two didn't made eye contact with Tsunade. There was a long silence in the office with only the sighs of Tsunade being heard.

"The two of you are now suspended for two months. I don't want to see your faces until then. Reflect your actions!" shouted Tsunade as she hit the desk.

"Very well Tsunade-sama" said Neji softly as he left the office however Naruto continued to sit at the office.

"Well? Get out of my office!" said Tsunade. She looked at Naruto and was surprised instead. Naruto was smiling.

"Thank you." Those were the only words Naruto said as he left the office leaving the image of a bright smile behind.

Soon, the news spread really fast about the suspension of two teachers. All the other teachers were shocked but they had to pretend as if nothing happened for the sake of their jobs.

Two months is really long. Ever since that incident, none of the teachers saw Naruto nor Neji around the school. It became quite worrisome for them.
