"MUICHIROU! STOP!"

THE SAID BOY ROLLED his eyes at his "annoying" younger sibling. he eventually walked away from the scene, leaving his sister to clean up his messes, as usual.

she could only watch as her brother wandered off with a key he mercilessly persisted the poor child into giving him. she felt awful for the small boy and tanjirou, who was jabbed right in the neck and spun headfirst into the rough ground.

"i'm so sorry about him. he could be such handful sometimes." she sighed, gently shaking the older boy, checking if he's alright in the process.

after several shakes, tanjirou groggily opened his deep ruby eyes and fluttered them repetitively. glancing around, he saw two figures looming over him in concern.

"are you ok?" the girl asked, fidgeting in her spot. she knew muichirou possessed incredible power, so she fretted about the boy's well-being.

tanjirou focused his attention on the younger girl before him. with a wave of his hand, he informed the girl that he is, in fact, alright, just amazed at the pillar's strength.

"yeah, that's muichirou for you. he's just an airhead," she said, and the two boys nervously eyed each other as she spoke lowly of her brother, as if he's going to return out of nowhere and scold his sister, "don't take what he's said to heart though, he's too blunt for his own good."

at her words, the two boys' tension calmed. [name] brushed her hands on the ends of her gray yukata, then ran a hand through her black hair. she turned to the youngest male with the mask and said, "i'll try to convince mui if he could return the key to you. again, i'm sorry for the damage he's caused."

the girl bowed apologetically in front of the boys and started following the path her older brother took minutes before.

'now where did mui go?'

adventuring through the thick woods, [name] caught sight of muichirou's crow, a name she'll never allow herself to remember. she knows all too well that his crow simply likes him and him only. she then recalled a distant memory regarding that wretched bird.

"muichirou! i brought you your tea!" the twelve-year-old girl sang, skipping on the sparse rocks that littered the ground. she kept a firm hold on the wooden tray while meeting her brother at his training grounds.

"here," she said, a little out of breath, for she wasn't nearly athletic as her older brother was. she extended her hand out to him, and he sheathed his sword onto his uniform belt.
