Chapter 7

Hazel Pov:

Finally schools over and dad's coming home!

My father's the Alpha of the Shadow pack. He stays in the pack house sometimes, so he can get more of his work done there. My father had this house built when I was born, so he can have his own private house with just his family. But in resulting I don't see much more of him. Which makes me sad because I miss him.

Don't get me wrong I love having girls night with mom, but I just don't like the house unguarded without my father inside. Plus I know mom misses him a lot!

"I'm home!" I yelled.

"Hey darling how was your day?" She asked.

'It was great! lessons were boring and at lunchtime I fixed up a date for my 'new friend'. In the middle of it I caused a scene in front of the football team and everyone else in the cafeteria and that's not all! my mate got mad because I was causing too much attention towards myself  and then he looked like he was dying for blood, so he ended up biting my arm.....so it went great!'

"It was alright." I said instead.

"That's good, now go and catch up on homework. I will call you down for tea." She smiling.

I bet she's excited that dad's coming home too!

"Okay." I kissed her cheek and made my way towards my room.

As I entered my room, I jumped at the sight of LUCAS IN MY BEDROOM..

Seriously?!

"Hey Hazel, I didn't see you after school." He said not looking at me, but at the pictures in my room.

"Yeah, sorry I had to come straight home because my father's coming home!" I said excitedly.

"The Alpha of the Shadow pack right?" He questioned.

"Yup. Why do you smell different? you smell like a......wolf!" I responded.

"Yeah its my cologne. I have two different ones: One to make me smell like a Wolf and the other to make me smell like a human." he explained.

He grabbed one of my book from my night stand, that I'm currently reading which is 'Harry potter and the Deathly Hallows.' and sat on my bed getting comfortable.

While I just put my bag on my desk, got out my homework and got started on it.

My room is ear proof, so my parents can't hear us from afar, but if they were really close to my room then they can hear us, by using their wolf hearing and since I'm young I have better wolf senses than my parents do, so I can hear anything in my house.

"Hazel I'm bored, will you play with me please?" Said Mr Truffles, my teddy bear, which Lucas is controlling.

I smiled and played along.

"No, sorry Mr Truffles but I have homework to complete. You can hangout with Lucas for now and then snuggle up with me tonight." I joked.

"Can Lucas join in with the snuggling too?" Mr Truffles said with both paw together, like he's begged.

I narrowed my eyes at Mr Truffles.

"Maybe...." I said and carrying on with the equations.

"Yippee" Mr Truffles began jumping up and down on Lucas's lap.

I just chuckled and went back to work.

****35min later****

Ouch! 

I looked down and saw a scrunched up paper ball.

I looked towards the bed to find Mr Truffles and Lucas pointing at each other. I was just about to say something, when I heard a voice.
