Chapter 18

A month later.....

Lucas Pov:

I went to the gym below my house, grabbed some boxing gloves and started punching the bag.

I hate being stuck here! I realised all my anger towards the bag. The material is made out of special steel that makes it hard for us vampire to ruin the bag.

All I've been doing is going to the Vampire Council meetings to make sure that they don't find out about Hazel. Even if that means I'm stuck with one of the council members daughter Vanessa, who keeps flirting with me, all the time....its like she's everywhere!

Her father is part of the vampire council and he wants her to experience what the meetings like, but I swear that woman needs to start wearing more clothing!  She never believed me, when I said 'I found my Zing' instead she dresses like a stripper to every council meetings and tries to flirt with me! Vanessa's father keeps smiling at the sight of us two like he wanted this, as well as my father!

I need to get out of here and back to Hazel! I need her, not just because of her blood, but I need her generally.

She's my 'zing' so I want nothing more than to escape from this hell hole and go back to the city!

But my father's not letting me go. He always stops me, just like he does to my mother. He sealed off the exit me and Liz used last time.

I stopped punching the bag, I felt sweat on my forehead to my back. I walked towards the window and looked at the moon, while wondering what Hazel's doing now? and if she's safe?

I wish she was here now. I would love to have her in my arms and I'll never let her go...ever! I want to tell her that 'I love her so much' and want to kiss her a great deal.

Suddenly I felt a feeling inside me, like somethings calling me, so I put my guard down and allowed it to take over me.

"Lucas?" a girl  said coming forwards.

I looked straight ahead to where the voice was coming from and couldn't hide my shock.

"Hazel?" I questioned. 

She nodded and I can see tears in her eyes.

We ran towards each other and I hugged her tightly.

"Lucas.....can't.......breath." She said touching her stomach.

I pulled away from her and looked down.

"Hazel.... why gave you gone fatter, than when I last saw you? Have you been stress eating again?" I questioned in concern. 

Hazel looked at me and took a deep breath.

"Lucas....I'm pregnant and your the father." She said.

I can feel my eyes widening.

My Zing is pregnant!

I'm going to be a father!

"This isn't a dream is it?" I questioned.

"No. I don't know how I'm here either......but I'm glad I am." Hazel's voice began breaking.

I hugged her gently and kissed her forehead "Oh love I missed you too."

I got down on my knees and pulled up Hazel's shirt a bit, so I could see the bump.

I smiled and put both my hands on the bump and felt a kick.

Me and Hazel looked at each other in shock, but smiled happily.
