Chapter 10

Hazel Pov:

"Crisps check"

"Chocolate check."

"Coke check."

"Movies check."

"Mr Truffles check." I smiled, remembering Lucas controlling him. If he was here he would probably make Mr Truffles say 'Are me and Lucas invited too?'

"Popcorn check."

"And music check."

I ticked off the last thing on my check list.

I'm ready for 'project' Gabbe said, which means having a slumber party and talk about what happened yesterday and other things.

My parents went on a date tonight, which I'm thankful for because I needed them out of the house. So they don't listen in to our conversation outside my door.... especially my mother.

As on cue the doorbell rang.

I went to open the door and saw Gabbe dressed in her bunny pyjamas.

She smiled when she saw me and we went straight upstairs to my bedroom.

"So what happened yesterday?" She questioned straight away, while sitting on my bed.

"Umm me and Lucas ate food, when you were gone and took a walk to talk about life and then he dropped him off home." I answered honesty.

"No....well, Yes that happened to me and Daniel too and guess what? Daniel kissed me!" She shouted, while jumping up and down.

"Oh that's good, I'm really happy for you." I put a forced smile on hoping she wouldn't realise.

Luckily she didn't...

But the truth is, I feel really jealous because I've known Lucas for a while now and we've been out together and hell I've even let him suck my blood twice now and even though it felt good, I want to know...

Why have we never kissed before?

Yes I know we were close, but I just wish I could just go back now and have kissed him.

I don't want to be one of them needy girlfriends, but I just help to know what it would have felt like if he actually kissed me.

When I kissed Jack, I didn't feel anything, but I think I just kept kissing him because I wanted to feel something or at least imagine something will happen everytime we kissed.

But it didn't.... 

My mother once told me that 'kissing your mate was one of the greatest kisses you can have and that there will be fireworks going off and you will feel sparks shooting everywhere in your body.'

But I just haven't felt that yet....

Gabbe's voice snapped me to reality....

"Anyways, what happened when you and Lucas left the table yesterday?" Gabbe questioned.

"I had a stain on my shirt and told Lucas to wipe it off." I lied

"But I didn't see anything." Gabbe muttered.

"Only because you were staring at Daniel the whole time. What happened on your walk with Daniel anyways?" I said trying to change the subject.

"It was great, we just kept talking about our family and about how Daniel was annoyed by how the football team is treating him....and guess what?! Daniel wants to sit on our table tomorrow." Gabbe explained, while squealing.
