💕 Neighbors 💕 Part 3

That's funny, my 6am alarm was going off, how can that be possible, I haven't slept yet. I looked at the time, and my jaw dropped, did I- really just pull an all nighter, unintentionally!
I was scared, but proud of myself. I rolled out of bed and immediately ran down to the kitchen and made a cup of coffee.

I went back to my room so that I could get ready. I did the usual, I showerd, I brushed my teeth and hair, I also put white clips in my hair, washed my face and put on  a little bit of makeup. For my outfit, I decided to wear a long grey skirt, a white crop top and a acid washed jean jacket with nude berkinstocks.

I put my backpack on my back, took my phone off of charge, opened my window and headed downstairs towards the kitchen.

That's weird, mom wasn't in the kitchen.She was probably still sleeping. I opened the fridge and took out a fruit salad, my coffee was still hot, so I didn't have to make another one. I had time to spare so started to eat my fruit salad,Honestly I was surprised, I wasn't tired,I actually felt 10 times more energized than when I actually do sleep. Within minutes I finished my fruit salad. Before I left, I wrote a note and place it on the fridge.

Goodmorning mom and dad, you guys weren't up yet, so I ate the fruit salad that was in the fridge I also had coffee.

I hated waiting for the bus, it always felt like someone was was watching me, I was the only in my neighborhood who actually used the bus stop, besides Noah, the rest had their parents take them to school, our neighborhood wasn't that big, it was actually quite small, I liked it. It was quiet and everyone knew each other pretty well.

"Goodmorning Zoey, How did you sleep?" Noah said cheerfully, sitting next to me on the bus stop bench

"Hi, I didn't sleep at all, I was scrolling through tik tok at 2 am and the next thing I knew it was 6am."I chuckled and took a sip of my coffee.

"Are you coming to my house today?" Noah asked, it's like he wanted me to say yes, but I knew I was going to be extremely exhausted.

"I'll see" I said with a misterous tone in my voice

"Then I'll have to get Jae her Pink lemonade," he chuckled.

"wait- you heard that." I felt my cheeks warm up.

"Jae isn't a very good whisperer." he admitted.

We both laughed because it's true.
The bus approached us.

"Are you going to sit next to me again?" Noah asked, he blushed a little bit, but I that was from laughing.

"Always!" I answered him

"I can't believe you you stayed up all night !"
Jae couldn't believe it

"I know right and think the coffee worked, I only slept in Mr Xaviers Class." I was proud of myself

"So, What happened with you and Noah at the bus stop?" Jae knew that we they only people who go to the bus stop in my neighborhood.

"We were gossiping." I chuckled

"Gossiping? About who?" Jae loved gossip

She didn't know we were gossiping about her.

"Well, she walks her friend home, everyday. She also has a travel sized perfume in her backpack, Oh! and I heard she hid behind a rose bush."I laughed at the the puzzled look on her face.

"Me!, you were gossiping about me." she had her hand on her heart and had a pouted.

"we only talked about how you weren't a great whisperer, that's how he heard you complaining about not having pink lemonade."

"Does he have Pink Lemonade today." her face lit up, indicating that we had to visit him immediately .

"Yeah, he said he would get some after school."
I chuckled

We stopped by my house before we went to Noah's place, I wanted to see if my parents were home yet.

"Mrs Linn!!! Guess Who's BACK!" Jae shouted from the front door.

"Hello Miss Summers." My mom hugged Jae and then she hugged me.

"We're going to Noah's place for a couple of hours." I told my mom, I didn't want her to worry about me like she did yesterday.

"Ok but don't be late for dinner and Jae you more than welcome to come over for dinner." 

"Thanks Mrs Linn"

Jae and I chucked our backpacks on the nearest table and ran to Noah's house.

"Yay! You have pink lemonade." Jae said

"Well it's better that Fiji water." Noah winked and Jae and chuckled slightly.

We talked about what we were talking about yesterday, before we left in a hurry.

"Do you want to see my backyard?" Noah asked

"Yes!" I exclaimed

His Backyard was stunning, he had a pool, a barbecue stand, lots of flower bushes and one of those swing chairs.

"it's beautiful." I was amazed, . I loved everything about.

"Thank you"

Jae was still inside watching Netflix.

"Let's sit on the swing chair." Noah suggested

The swing chair was comfortable, It felt like sitting on a cloud. Noah and I spoke about anything and everything, we spoke about ice-cream flavors, best films ever made and most importantly, Is cereal considered a soup?
we laughed at our answers, we just clicked, its like we have been forever and we didn't meet at the bus stop.
There was a moment of silence, the birds were chirping and you could Jae screaming at the TV . I looked over at Noah, he seemed to be lost in his thoughts, just like I was. Does he also let his thoughts take over his body, like I do? It's a nice feeling, it's like you're floating in a pool of fantasies.

I felt a warm and comforting permanent sensation on my hand, I looked down to see what it was and it was Noah's hand. Why was he holding my hand. Did it move there accidentally? Did he want to hold my hand? Did - did Noah like me? I gasp at my own thought.

"Oh I'm sorry." Noah removed his hand from mine, he had a sad but embarrassed look on his face.

"N-no it's completely fine Noah." I reassured him.

He placed his hand on mine once again, I felt my cheeks heat up.

"Hey! Zoey! we going to be late for dinner!"Jae yelled from the living room.

"I'm Coming!" I yelled back

I looked over at Noah, he had huge smile on his face and his cheeks very a bright pink colour.

"Why you smiling?" I asked him with a cheeky grin on my face

"Oh, No reason - Maybe it's because I held your hand." he chuckled.

"Zoey I'm Leaving You Here!" Jae yelled with an impatient tone in her voice.

I hugged Noah, I felt the same feeling I felt when he hugged me last night, warmth and love. I broke the hug and kissed him on the cheek.

"See you tommorrow and the bus stop!" I said leaving his house.
