💕 Neighbors 💕 Part 2

"Would you two like anything to drink?" Noah offered with a small smile on his face.

"We'll just have water, thanks." I smiled at him as he left.

"-but I wanted pink lemonade" Jae whined

"We came here uninvited, we can't expect him to provide for your expensive taste Jae." I whispered softly, so that Noah couldn't hear us.

5 minutes later

Noah Came in with two Fiji waters and a packet of Doritos Chips.

Jae's jaw fell two the floor and whispered in my ear," if he has Fiji water, then he must have pink lemonade."

I chuckled and thanked Noah for the water and chips. We chatted for what felt like hours,I felt my phone vibrate, I then looked at my phone and I saw that I had 5 missed calls and 23 text messages from my mom. "Oh Shoot!!" "um-we have to go, thank y-you again." I pushed Jae out the of his front door and we ran my house.

"hey, what was that for, I was enjoying my chips and don't get me started on the fiji-?" Jae breathed heavily, she just ran, I didn't balme her.

I showed her my lock screen that still had the 5 missed calls and 23 text message notifications.
"-nevermind " she was scared for me, but I was even more scared for myself.
"I need backup, come in with me, I don't how my mom and dad are going to react and besides they love you." I begged Jae until she gave in.

I can't believe she said it was ok if I went to Noah's house, I thought she would've grounded me.
Jae went home after she ate dinner with us. Jae was basically apart of my family, like the sister I never had. I then remembered I had loads of homework, but I couldn't find my backpack. I looked everywhere, I called Jae and asked if she saw it before she left.

*Ding *Dong

"I'll get it!" I yelled from my room
I ran down the stairs, maybe it was my clothes that I ordered online, or a surprise pizza.
I opened the door it was...

"Noah!" I gasped closing the door behind me so that we had privacy on the porch.
"W-What are you doing here? " I stuttered because I wasn't expecting him maybe this is how he felt when we just rocked up at his house.

" Well, you left your bag at my place and you have lots of Science homework, so I decided to deliver it to you." He smiled and handed me my heavy, black pack.

"Oh thanks you, I was actually looking for it. "I chuckled and looked into his eyes. they were so beautiful, even though they were brown.

"ugh- where are my manners, do you want to come in? " I offered face plaming my forehead.
"we have hot chocolate "I added so that he would give in.

"Absolutely!" He giggled, we walked towards the kitchen.

We sat on the kitchen counter, drinking our hot chocolate, talking about school and gossiping about teachers, speaking of teachers I remembered I had science homework.

"Oh Shoot! " I face palmed once again.
"I have Science homework, lots of it!" I angrily added

"Maybe, I can help?" Noah offered, taking a sip of his hot chocolate. I noticed he had a twinkle in his eye, but I ignored it because I was stressing about finishing my homework before midnight. I looked at the clock that was above the fridge.

22:10

" Wow! won't you look at the time, it's already past my bed time." I chuckled scarasticlly ", but It's ok, really, you don't have to help me and besides it's a school night." I turned down his offer.

"I should be heading home anyways." he walked over to the sink and put his used mug in it. he looked at me afterwards, sending another shiver down my spine, I felt my face warming up. he was really beautiful.

"I'll walk you out." I coughed, choking a little bit on my hot chocolate.
we walked slowly towards the door.

I closed the door behind me once again, so that we had privacy.

"Thanks for the hot chocolate, Zoey it was delicious." Noah said while licking his lips

"You're welcome anyti-"

Noah interrupted and gave me a hug, he was warm and he smelt amazing.we hugged for about 5min, he broke the hug and shook my hand, mimicking our first interaction together, he turned around and started to jog home. I watched him until I couldn't see him anymore.

I went back inside and saw my backpack on the table, that's when I remembered, I still had to do my homework.

Finally I was done with science, it actually wasn't that difficult, or maybe it was easy because I didn't know anything. Either way I was done, I looked at my phone and I saw I had 4 messages from Jae and 1 dm

I opened Jae's message first

Jae 🖤

      Hey Girl

       Zoey?
 22:00
       Are you ignoring me?
 22:15
      See you tommorrow at school 🖤
22:30

Sorry, I was doing science homework, you know how long that that takes. 😂❤️
       23:00    
I'll talk to you at school tomorrow.

I put my phone on charge and placed it on my night stand, I changed into pajamas, I brushed my teeth, washed my face, put my pimple cream, brushed my hair, picked out my clothes for tommorrow, packed my back pack because I knew I wasn't going to have time in the morning, after all it was almost midnight. I turned my lights off.
I jumped into my unmade bed, I scrolled through Tik Tok, what felt like minutes,but were actually hours...
