🎂 Forgotten Birthdays 🎂Part 4

Saturday, finally. This week was stressful but rewarding at the end.

I stayed in bed until '9:30' just thinking, as usual

I am Well rested . I had an amazing dream

' Correction, did Noah like me?

I got out of bed, and strolled on over to my wardrobe and picked out an outfit.

A cute light purple dress with my air force ones.
I got ready and walked to the kitchen for breakfast

"Good morning Zoey." My Dad exclaimed as he flipped a pancake in the air

"Morning,Where's Mom?" I sat down by the dinning table.

"She's at the Gym."
"She'll be back at 12pm." Dad added.

I placed the plate of pancakes in the middle of the dining table amongst the bacon, syrup and scrambled eggs.

"Wow, Dad breakfast looks scrumptious." I licked my lips

"Bon Appétit Zoey." Dad said in a French accent

I giggled as I put 4 pancakes on my plate and  followed with 2 strip of bacon.

"That was delicious." I leaned back and rubbed my stomach.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it."

"Oh before I forget, a young lad came this morning, he asked if you could visit him when you were ready." Dad informed me

"Was his name Noah?" I asked

"I don't know what his name was, to be completely honest. All I know is that he wanted you to visit."

Dad put the leftover pancakes, bacon and egg in the microwave.

"Did he have curly hair?" I really wanted it to be Noah, who wanted me to visit him

"Why, yes... yes he did." My dad nodded his head

"Oh ok, do you mind if I go?" I asked, just because I knew he was going to be alone.

"Yeah sure go ahead, your mom will be home any minute now." He smiled

"Thank you." I ran out the kitchen, ran towards the front door and ran as fast as I could over to Noah's house.

I rang the doorbell and waited for it to be answered.

but no one did

so i rang it again

still nobody answered...

I sat on the stairs, waiting, maybe they went to Grocery Store? .

45 minutes later

Nobody came back, so I left

That was funny howcome he wanted me to visit, but then not answer the door.

I walked back home.

Opened up the front door and ran to my room

I jumped on my bed and started to cry, I'm not sure why, I just felt the sudden urge to cry.

Zoey, you probably won't speak to me after you read this message, but you need to know.. You probably went to my house and I wasn't home and that's because, I... I... I... I moved, I'm in London living with my Uncle Bennett while my mom is on a business trip. I don't know when I'll be back, but I wanted to hug you one last time before I left and obviously that wasn't possible, I love you Zoey I hope you know that. 💖
