"Your assignment for this semester is to compile and create a photography portfolio, that will be presented at the school showcase later this year, get started now, the actual photographing will take the most time," Mr Dunn says to the class I am seated in. I'm currently taking this photography class to improve and refine my skills.
Although for this year's project I've chosen to go with a different approach, instead of landscapes and fillers I'm going to 'shoot' the two most important people in my life, Archie and of course my gorgeous girlfriend Betty Cooper.
"So are you in?" I had just asked Betty to be my model for my project "The whole school will see these?" She asks me nervously "Yeah, but only the parents, its showing at the showcase" Isay trying to reassure her, she eventually agrees with me and so does Archie.
"Betts, wake up. We gotta go" I say shaking her shoulders she groans, that's when I realise I'm gonna have to carry her lazy butt to the car where we are meeting Archie.
"Didn't want to get up?" Archie asks leaning against his dads truck and I shake my head at him chuckling lightly "Amature" He jokes with me.
After finishing Archie's shoot, he was pretty quick and easy, we head down to this old abandoned hotel near antelope valley. Betty gets changed into the dress shes wearing and I smile at her, she's gorgeous.
Betty POV
I trust Jughead, and I love him, so I know what we are doing is good. He directs me around for a while, stealing kisses when Archie isn't looking because when he does see us makes the same stupid joke "Why don't you kiss me when it was me in front of the camera" I mock him
"You don't have to be nervous just be your beautiful normal self, ok," He tells me and I nod at him.
After we finished the shoot, Archie treated us to Pops which was pretty nice of him to do. Jughead won't let us see the finished photos until the showcase, he says, and I quote, "The surprise is the best bit".
Jug POV
Every time I go to edit Betty's photo I keep getting distracted, all I can do is look at her, it sounds creepy but shes a treasure.
After weeks of work and preparation, I finally got the portfolio done all I had to do was get the all-clear from my teacher and I was done and could show off my work to the world, more like school bord but hey? same same but different right.
"I must admit, Mr Jones this is some of the best work I've seen from a student, I'm impressed, you can show your work at the showcase," He tells me and I'm genuinely excited "Thank you," I say before taking the photography book back and run over to betty and kiss her.
"What?" She asks me smiling brightly "It got accepted, I can show it off the world" I brag humbly.
Night of the showcase
Me, Betty, Archie, Veronica and my dad and Alice along with JB and Fred Andrews walk through the halls of the gym where students artwork is shown off. "Wheres your Jug?" Archie asks me "Oh, found it," Fp says waving at them and pointing to a book "Jughead Jones The III" The title reads.
The first page reads "For my semester project I decided to photograph my best friend and Girlfriend" We flip the page over and it's 2 picture of Archie from the beach
