"Jug I think we need a break" Betty says sadly "Your right, lets go to pops or something to cool off" He says grabbing his coat and walking to the door "No, jug, I mean a break from... from us" Betty says with a tear dripping down her left cheek, Jughead looks back at Betty and keeps walking out the door and slams the door. Betty falls back into her bed and sits down crying.
"Jug-" Fp says as Jughead walks out the front door slamming it behind him "What happened?" Alice says and Fp shrugs.
Later that night Jughead still hasn't come home yet and it 1:30 in the morning and Betty hasn't left her room yet "Betty, Jug hasn't come home yet, do you know where he is" Fp says through Betty's door "No, and I don't know when or if he's coming back" Betty says groggily "well if you see him come back let me know, but I'm gonna go out and look for him" Fp says walking away and done the stairs.
"JUG!" Alice and Fp yell from Fp's cruiser "Ok, well if Jugs upset for whatever reason. Where is he most likely gonna be?" Alice asks "Betty would know" Fp says "I know she would, but I couldn't even get her out of the door today at all" Alice says rolling her eyes.
"Just try calling Betty" Fp protests "Fine, but she won't pick up" Alive says pulling her phone out her pocket. The phone dials 3 time before Betty's voice echoes through the phone
Betty: What Mom? Alice: Watch your tone Betty: Sorry... Alice: Do you know where Jughead is Betty: No and I don't care Alice: Well... fine but where is he most likely to be Betty: If you really want to know, if he's just upset he'll be in Pops eating. If he's really up set he'll be at the edge of sweet water river drin- Alice: Doing what Betty? Betty: If he is by Sweetwater river then he wants to be alone Alice: Betty. Right now, it's Cold and raining he will get sick Betty so just tell us what he's doing Betty: He'll be by sweet water river, drinking and smoking Alice: What and what?! Betty: If you find him call me
"Betty said he's at sweet water river most likely... drinking" Alice says awkwardly and Fp tightens his grip on the steering wheel "Fine. Let's go there then" Fp says Turning back around.
Jugheads sitting in the edge of Sweetwater river hair all wet feet soaking wet in the water and Jack Daniels in one hand and an almost finished cigarette eyes all dazed and red and watery "JUG!" Fp yells sheilding him self from the rain Jughead turns his head to face his dad and takes another swing of his Drink "What?!" Jughead yells "Get in the car where going home" Fp says trying to pull the bottle out of his hand "Yeah, I'm not going home" Jughead says turning back around to face the water "Why?" Fp asks looking down at him "I don't have a reason, too Dad" Jug says taking a drag from the cigarette "Of course you have reasons to go back into a warm home" Fp says and Jughead stands up to and faces his dad "No! Dad I don't, I don't have a reason. SHE NEVER GAVE ME A REASON" Jughead yells and starts to walk away "She? Meaning Betty" Fp asks "Yeah! Dad it's Betty!" Jug says throwing his arms around "Well let's talk about it then, You and Betty love eachother you can figure it out" Fp says "NO! Dad tell me this, would you go back to your house, get in bed with the girl you still love who doesn't love you back anymore!" Jug says throwing his arms around and crying and begins to walk into the woods and away from his Dad and Alice "Jug" Fp says grabbing Jugs arm but he slips out of them "Just, just. STOP TRYING TO FOLLOW ME" Jug yells stumbling onto the tree "Fine!" Fp yells and storms back into the car "What happened?" Alice asks "He's gonna drink him self to death, like MY DAD DID AND LIKE I NEARLY DID ITS ABOUT TIME HE TRIED!" Fp yells hitting the stealing wheel and yells out the window hoping Jughead would hear "GO FUCK YOURSELF!" Jughead yells at his dad and walks into the woods.
Fp and Alice walk back into the Cooper Jones house scared and worried. "Do just calm down, he'll be back I promise" Alice says touching his arm.
The Next Morning "Dad" Kevin says stopping his dad "Yeah Kev?" mr Keller says out of breath "Is someone asleep out there" Kevin asks looking into the wood "Stay there Kev" Mr Keller says walking carefully to wards the body "Kev? Do you know him?" Mr Keller asks lifting Up the bodies head (his head was attached to his body btw) Kevin comes running to his dad "Jug? Jughead?" Kev asks tapping him hard and Jughead groans and turns over "Dad pick him up it's Betty's boyfriend Kevin says grabbing one arm and Mr Keller grabs the other and drags his half awak body to the car and takes him back to Kevin's house.
"Kev, I completely spiralled last night" Jughead says drinking water "Does anyone know where you are?" Kev asks and Jughead shakes his head "Well Kev you should go to school, I'll look after Jughead for the day" Mr Keller says and Kevin nods before running out the door and Jughead falls back onto the couch.
Betty walks into school tired from know sleep last night and stressing about her missing boyfriend "hey bett- woah, you look wrecked" Veronica says as Betty slumps down on the couch in the student lounge "Betty! Where you at all drinking last night?" Kev asks walking into the student lounge "No, and before you ask" Betty gets cut off "We found Jughead, he was wasted and passed out in the woods by the river" Kev says and Betty laughs and rolls her eyes "Shocking" Betty says sarcastically and gets up "Where are you going" Veronica asks "I'm going to pick up hungover wasted eX-boyfriend" Betty says and Kevin and Veronica jump out of there chair after looking at eachother "She said EX right?" Archie asks.
"Betty!" Veronica says but Betty has already left.
Kevin House "Juggie?" Betty says shaking him awake lightly "Betty?" Jughead groans "Come on, I'm taking you home" Betty says Picking Jughead up by the shoulders and starts to walk stumbling with Betty holding on to him and thanking Mr Keller.
"Mom? Mr Jones?" Betty calls and Fp comes around the corner and see Jughead holding on to Betty barely awake "Jug?" Fp asks grabbing Jughead and putting him on the couch "Kevin, said he found him passed out and hungover in the woods" Betty says tearing up "Ok, well I've gotta go to work, but can you stay and look after him?" Fp asks and Betty nods.
Jughead wakes up a bit fresher and taps Betty to wake her up "Did you stay with me?" Jug asks and and Betty nods "Your sweet for doing that" Jug says "Can...Can we talk" Jug says "Sure" Betty replies and sits up in the chair "Why, why did you break up with me?" Jug asks sadly "Ummm... actually I've been meaning to talk to you about this" Betty says and slides next to Jughead "It's Reggie, he uh. In freshmen year me and Reggie dated, I dumped him and he became angry and jealous. He said if I didn't break up with you, he'd hurt you and I love you and I couldn't see you get hurt" Betty says "Oh, you didn't need to do that Betty" Jug says "I-I felt like if I didn't break up with you you'd get hurt. Bad Jug and I couldn't watch that" Betty says sadly "I'm Gonna kill Reggie, Or really badly hurt him. But first" Jughead says pushing Betty down on the couch and kissing her passionately "And yes, let's go up stairs" Jug says and Betty smiles and licks her lips "I'm still hungover sooo we can cuddle" jug says and Betty smiles.
"Ok, Betty. Now that we've sufficiently caught I'm gonna go murder Reggie" Jug says getting out from under the covers "Jug, no" Betty says trying to stop him but he turns back and shakes his head "Betty" he replies before storming down the stairs Betty rolls her eyes and laughs following him.
"Jug? Where are you going" Fp asks "Im gonna go and take care of some shit" Jug says and Betty follows him out the door.
"REGGIE!" Jug yells standing in the hallways of Riverdale high "Ohhh, look Pony tail and Beanie Boy" Reggie says laughing and Jughead tackles him to the ground punching his face in "Jug!" Betty says trying to pull him off Reggie but he keeps on hitting him until he's out cold "Great, Now he's dead" Betty says "MR JONES!" Mr honey yells Jughead runs out the school before anyone could catch up to him and grabs Betty's hand and runs out with him
Betty and Jughead run into the cooper house "You Two. Here. Now" Alice says firmly Jug rolls his eyes "Care to explain, why Mr Honey called and sent me this saying that you Jughead did this"

"well he deserved it" Jughead says "Oh my god, long story short, your suspended and your grounded" Alice says and Betty and Jughead walk up stairs kissing "Mkay" Betty says between kisses
