Her Smile

Chapter 4

I groaned as we pulled up to the tropical resort the Ootori's owned.

I didn't bring anything.

The twins cocked their heads and crunched their eyebrows. "What's wrong Tora?"

Tamaki's head snapped towards me and asked sincerely. "Do you not want to be here with a swim suit on in front of these shady twins?"

I shook my head and said, "No, I just didn't bring anything to change into."

He gawked at me as I began to step out of the limo. Hikaoru and Kaoru grabbed me and pulled me towards the changing area and handed me a small box. "Here!" Then slammed the door closed.

I sighed and locked the door. I opened the box and pulled out a simple pink bikini that had a cute baby blue bottom with a white swim-skirt. I smiled and nodded. I slipped the suit on and looked in the box to see a white cover-up dress with an orange pattern traveling up one side of it.

I grabbed that and stepped out. The group was busy with their things, only until Tamaki screamed. "What have you two sadistic twins put my baby cousin in?!"

I smiled at my blonde cousin's worry and lifted the cover-up and said, "It's okay, senpai. They gave me a little dress to cover it."

He sent another glared at the twins who were giving each other a high-five with an evil smirk on their faces. Haruhi smiled and said, "It looks good on you, Tora-kun." I smiled and thanked her.

Honey grabbed my hands and exclaimed, "Wah~! You look so cute, Tora-chan!"

I smiled and patted his head. "Thank you, senpai!"

I slipped on the dress and turned to see Mori gazing at me. I blushed as he said, "You look pretty."

Haruhi bumped my shoulder. I turned to her with a blush and looked away.

So, I just learned that I'm scared of the forest. More like being alone. I don't even know how we all got separated, we just did.

I spun in circles trying to find a way out, my auburn hair flying everywhere. I began to get scared as I heard weird noises. I felt something touch my arm and froze, turning around with tears staining my cheeks. As I turned to see that it was Mori-senpai, I fell to the ground, him still holding my hand.

"Oh, it's just you." I attempted to laugh off the frightened state I was in, but ended up just falling into silence.

I felt myself move and ended up in Mori's arms.
"M-Mori! W-What are you doing?"

"Hugging." He said simply.

I teared up and curled into his chest. "I was scared, Mori."

"I know."

"I didn't think I'd see you again." I cried out,

"But you see me now."

I slowly lifted my eyes to Mori and placed a hand on his cheek. "You're right."

He lifted me into his arms and carried me. He look into my eyes and pressed his forehead to mine, his eyes closed. I close mine, and traced circle on his cheek.

The crickets just added to the sweet moment we were having. My other hand traveled towards his neck and I rested my arm on his broad shoulder. I realized that I was no longer wearing my dress and he was bear-chested and blushed slightly, but a smile slipping it's way onto my face.

We both heard a yell and I flinched. I saw Mori's eyes were still closed and studied his eyelashes. Mori didn't move, but he did slowly open his eyes.

"Tamaki is worried." He said, then ran through the woods.

"Tora!" Tamaki yelled as Mori and I emerged through the thick set of trees.

Haruhi, Tamaki and the twins ran towards me and enveloped me in a hug. "Tora! You're okay!"

I smiled and heard Honey run towards Mori. "Takashi!"

I smiled at Mori as he hugged his counterpart.

For some reason, I felt like a surge of confidence had filled me, and I felt like I could do anything. So, when Mori cut his eyes towards me, I didn't blush, I didn't get flustered, I just sent a smile.

And he returned it.
