. . .

Quinn's POV

I immediately prop on my elbow and sit on the bench. I put my palm on my thumping chests. What could've gotten into that guy's mind to suddenly act like a jealous boyfriend to me?

"That freaking retard!" I utter out of pure abrasiveness and the rolling of my eyeballs follows.

I am now getting used to rolling my eyes and it even became my habit because of Jabes. He really is annoying!

"Briella, what happened? Where is James?" Phil returns and asks.

"I don't know. You better go and help that friend of yours see a psychiatrist."

"Why?"

"Ahhh..." I roll my eyes again and yes I will never stop rolling them because I am really disgusted, "I need to go Phil. Thanks for today. I'm going home."

"Wait. We haven't finished —"

"I'll visit here some other time, bye." I tediously excuse myself and go straight to the fitting room.

I just change my sweat shirt because I brought an extra with me. After fixing my hair, putting some hypo-allergenic powders, and spraying some perfume, I go outside the room.

I am about to pull the door open when my eyes land to him again. He is dead serious about what he said a while ago because he's outside the gym leaning on the hood of his car with his hands inside the pockets of his shorts.

"Excuse me..." my body jerks when someone from behind pulls the door open.

I realize I am blocking the customers' way out. The sound of the long dangling bells caught Jabes' attention and he quickly turns his gaze to my direction. I look away and cover my face with my right palm as if sarcastically speaking, he will not see me. I try my best to quickly walk pass him who's still waiting and leaning on the hood of his car but then,

"Where are you going?" he calls me and without any permission, he grabs my hand which is covering my face.

"I can't see you." he says with full sarcasm. I try to pull my hand from him but he puts pressure on it.

"What do you want?!" I am now getting exasperated.

And you know what answer did he give me? He just pulls my arm, opens the door of his car, and pushes me inside like I'm a sack of potato. He sits beside me and drives his car.

"What is your problem Mr. Lethner?!" I ask with so much annoyance. I don't deserve all of this aggravation from him!

And you know what's more annoying? It's when you're almost turning into a raging bull and he's just driving his car like no one is beside him. How could he be so insensible like this when I'm almost turning into a dragon ready to blow some fire from my mouth?

"Where are you planning to bring me? I'm going home! Will you please stop bullshit-ing me?!"

I look at him and he's just silent. I feel like I am wearing Harry Potter's invisibility cloak right now because the cracked brain guy beside me is acting unconscious of his surroundings.
