"I can't believe he's here." Ronnie said, exasperatedly sighing as she looked across the table at Seth who was sipping a coffee at the little coffee shop that was 10 minutes away from campus and 3 minutes away from home

"Man, it must have really hit hard seeing him after everything he put you through," Seth said, looking at her sympathetically

"I just felt like my stomach dropped, like him coming back in my life is just some cruel sick joke, god, and I'm gonna have to see him so much now, and I can't transfer out, so I'm pretty much fucked," Ronnie said with a sigh as she sipped her coffee

"When you saw him, did anything change?" Seth asked looking at her and she arched an eyebrow

"Meaning?" She asked and he cleared his throat

"Are you still in love with him?"

Ronnie bit her lip, and chewed gently, thinking about Seth's question, then she sighed

"Yeah I am S." She said honestly and then shook her head

"I figured, so uh, what're you gonna do about this whole situation?" He asked and she sighed again

"Go with the flow I guess, there's no alternative I can see, I can't drop out, I can't transfer out of his class, I'm just- stuck." She said sadly

Seth frowned and reached over the table to hold her hand, she smiled at their hands and then at him, he lowered his eyes and spoke

"Whatever happens, Dean and I are behind you one hundred and ten percent,"  he told her, eyes meeting hers

"Thank you," she said honestly, felt nice to have them on her side

"So how's Finn?" She asked as she used her free hand to sip her macchiato

"He's alright, I gotta call him later, I can't believe he's in Ireland, think he misses me?" Seth asked, sounding like a little boy

"I'm sure he misses you S, the way he looks at you alone, the kid loves you," Ronnie said with a smile

"I uh- is it the same way Roman looks at you?" Seth asked with a smirk and Ronnie frowned, pulling her hand away from Seth

"I-"

"Hey guys!" Dean called, plopping down next to Ronnie and smiling

"You're late asshole," Ronnie teased, kissing Dean's cheek while he fistbumped Seth

"Sorry I got caught up at the bookstore," Dean said, fixing his jacket before he took up Ronnie's coffee and drank from it

Later on, Ronnie was walking down the stairs in the college when she heard someone calling her name, she turned around and smiled politely when she saw Professor Brooks coming towards her

"Hey Professor," she greeted and he smiled at her, chest heaving slightly

"Hi, um- I just wanted to let you know that if uh, you need any extra help in my course that I'd be happy to help you with some personal sessions," he said and Ronnie folded her arms with a knowing smile

"If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were coming onto me professor," she teased and Professor Brooks rubbed the back of his neck and huffed a laugh

"Depends, is it working?" He asked and Ronnie chuckled

"Like a charm," she replied with a smile and then she flicked her hair over her shoulder

"I'll keep your offer in mind Professor Brooks," she said

"Um, you can just call me Phil when it's just us," he said and Ronnie looked at him in amusement
