Introduction

"Morning Ronnie," Dean greeted his best friend as he walked up to where she was at her motorbike

"Morning D," she replied with a smile

"Mom packed you some chicken rolls," he said as they began walking into school

"Tell her thanks," she replied with a smile

"You're still coming over later?" He asked as he stopped at his locker and she leaned against the one next to his

"Of course, who else am I gonna study with and eat hot wings with?" She asked making him chuckle

"What you got first?" She asked him, looking into his locker

"We got Literature first," he said making her roll her eyes

"Great. Another period of watching the girls drool over Reigns," she said with a huff

"The guy's easy on the eyes," Dean dismissed

"Yeah, but he literally thrives on the attention," she said

"No he doesn't," Dean said with a shake of his head

"What do you mean?" She asked

"He teaches as if he doesn't see them drooling over him, he looks straight at you all the time," Dean said and Ronnie laughed

"Nah D, you're delusional." She said with a wave of her hand

"If you say so Ronnie," he replied with a smile playing at his lips as they walked to class

"Dean, Veronica, how nice of you to join us," he antagonized when they walked in, Dean muttered a quiet apology and walked over to their usual seat, Veronica just rolled her eyes and went to sit next to Dean

"Today we will be looking at one of the most famous love stories ever, Romeo and Juliet." He said taking out his book

"I shall be Romeo and I will need a Juliet," he said and almost as soon as the words left his mouth, every girl's hand was in the air, except Ronnie's.

"Veronica, please come to the front," he said and Dean bit his lip to hide his laugh as Veronica cursed under her breath and stood up, walking to stand next to him

Ronnie looked at the book and took a breath

"Saints do not move, though grant for prayers' sake." She said, looking anywhere but at the teacher

"Then move not, while my prayer's effect I taken thus from my lips, by yours, my sin is purged." Mr. Reigns read and Ronnie swore she heard the girls swoon

"Then have my lips the sin that they have took," she said, ending in a lip bite

Mr. Reigns just stared at her for awhile, only catching onto what he was doing when her eyes met his

"Sin from thy lips? Oh trespass sweetly urged, give me my sin again." He said and Ronnie looked at him as she said her last line

"You kiss by the book," she said and Mr. Reigns smiled

"Good job Veronica," he complimented and she nodded before she walked to her desk and sat down

Dean looked at her but she just shook her head, telling him to shut down whatever he was gonna say.

She walked with Dean to the lunch room and they sat down at their regular table, Seth and Paige joining them soon after

"He's looking at you," Dean teased

Ronnie looked up at him, then around the room to see who he was talking about, her eyes landed on a pair of steely greys and she immediately looked away

"Why're you so weird?" She asked Dean with a smile, trying to play it cool

When she got home from Dean's place, her dad told her that he was having a guest over for dinner, and she needed to be on her best behaviour, she agreed with him and went upstairs to do her homework, it was a while before she heard knocks and then the door was being opened

"Sweetie, come down!" She heard her dad say and she straightened her shorts and top before she went downstairs and stopped dead in her tracks

"Mr. Reigns?" She called in shock and Roman looked up at the stairs and froze

"Veronica," he replied, smile overtaking his lips and then his eyes tracked down the length of her body and she felt herself heating up, she probably should have put on something a little more covering instead of her jean shorts and Metallica crop top

"Let's have dinner," her dad said with a clap, unknowing of the tension that hung in the air
