Summer 2020, 9:30 AM
Monday, Satan's Coffee House

The minimalistic cafe melted in a comfortable silence besides the soft music playing from the speaker, a few locals minding their own business — either homework, research papers, or arranging business papers — as they basked in their seats, their works sprawled in front of them while others simply scrolled through their phones.

"Ohayōgozaimasu, Chocolate!"

Said male looked up from his phone as he fixed his red hat, the sides of his lips curling up when his eyes landed on the small and slim figure of Omurice holding a woven basket filled with food, steam wafting from the mouth as he smiled and approaching the counter.

"Ohayōgozaimasu, Omurice!" Chocolate greeted back, half of his body leaning over from the marble counter to take a peek in the basket, attracted to the delicious aroma that made his stomach grumble even though he ate breakfast earlier. "What brings you here?"

"Delivery for Coffee." Omurice handed him the basket, showing the food that the other male running the store ordered. "His absolute favourite, cheese bread."

Omurice merely grinned as Chocolate stashed the basket away for when Coffee gets back from hunting ingredients with Black Tea, Milk, and Tiramisu, his hand outstretched for Chocolate to hand the money, in which he gladly complied with.

On the way, Chocolate asked about the other blond male about how their master is doing, concerned since she hasn't showed up in a while.

"How's Master Attendant doing?"

"She's doing well surprisingly, though she sometimes over-works herself to the brink of exhaustion."

Omurice leaned against the counter and his hand swooped down to steal a red rose from Chocolate's bunch as a bonus, skipping away with a smile on his face.

"You better pay for that!" Chocolate yelled when he noticed the rose in his hand, eyes trailing back to the blond boy who already left the cafe and away from his sight.

Chocolate could only chuckle at his antics. The things he does for Pudding to notice his undying love for him, he thought as he rang up orders for the customers, the aroma of the cheese bread near him urging him to scarf it down, but no — he doesn't want Coffee to come back rattling him out, does he?

"We're finally back!" A bubbly girl with light brown hair and looking like Monika beamed when she entered the cafe, a jar filled to the brim with sugar in her hands as a few others followed behind, each having something in store for the business.

"Welcome back, any injuries?" The voice of Tiramisu snapped him out of his daze and he couldn't help but greet back along with a question to present his worry.

"We ran into a few Fallen Angels on the way to get some sugar." Black Tea dispersed into the kitchen, but her voice could still be heard albeit muffled for some parts. "No worries, B-52 and Brownie is coincidentally there along with Eclair and Napoleon Cake. We managed to take it down with not much injuries."

Upon hearing Black Tea mention two out of four Sweets and Rifles members' names, his ears perked up with a smirk slowly gracing his lips at the thought of them running into the others. "Oh? B-52 and Brownie?"

A Week Earlier

"I never thought you'll be with B-52, out of all people," Chocolate voiced while smirking, tone dripping with endearment and tease as he found amusement in seeing Brownie's face flare red in embarrassment.

"Don't tell anyone about this," Brownie threatened, pacing back and forth in front of him in his room. "We weren't planning on telling the others yet."

"I can't keep promises, though," Chocolate cackled, further teasing the other male as his back stiffened at his words.

Safe to say, Brownie broke his perfect, stoic butler facade and pleaded until he's on his knees, begging to not slip up and reveal their relationship.

"Yeah, why?" Coffee made a beeline behind the counter, attracted to the underlying aroma of cheese bread lingering in the emporio. Chocolate is mostly surprised on how he could make out the scent of his order amongst the humidifier pumping lavender in the air.

"Nothing, don't worry about it." Chocolate shook his head. He did forge a promise with Brownie to keep his mouth shut and besides, he will flip when he finds out.

Coffee merely hummed with a raised eyebrow, digging into his favourite food to replenish his energy as he leaned against the counter when the bells chimed and filled the staffs' and customers' ears, a familiar black-haired boy that faded to greyish blue at the tips with his hat skewered to the side and held in place by a ribbon entered the cafe, his cannon secured behind him.

"Brownie, what a surprise." Coffee grinned, eyes brimming with mischief as he noticed the other boy's eyes anxiously darted around, seemingly looking for something or someone as his feet strode across the cafe and in front of the counter, ignoring the looks from the customers.

Up close, the mischievous partners noted that the other boy's cheeks and arms were decorated in shallow wounds, clothes ripped in different parts and soaked in blood, hair covered in soot and cannon littered with scratches.

'Weird.' The duo thought, eyebrows furrowed in confusion and concern for the Brownie. This is definitely the fine work of a Fallen Angel, no doubt about it.

"Good morning, Coffee, Chocolate. Excuse me for the sudden intrusion," Brownie meekly greeted, trying to mask his pain as he questioned the two in front of him. "Have you seen Mistress Milk anywhere?"

"Ah, they just came back." Chocolate jerked his thumb in the direction of the kitchen, head lolled to the side and his voice — laced with a teasing yet troubled tone to it — boomed to call out said female. "Mistress Milk! Brownie's looking for you!"

Footsteps quickly padded out the kitchen, snow white eyes laying upon the messy appearance of Brownie. Albeit her expression is stone cold, a frown washed over her lips as she approached Brownie.

"This is a hasty and sudden request but," Brownie heaved, fingers fiddling with one another as he looked up to Milk. "We ran into a few Fallens and Aizen and our team barely made it out alive."

Coffee choked on his cheese bread from hearing the last part of his statement, Chocolate's hand unconsciously reached up and patted the other male's back to help him.

"Bifty's tattered with his engine oil leaking from protecting me, Napoleon's unconscious and might have internal bleeding from taking too many hits, and Eclair's rendered crippled for the time being." Brownie frowned after explaining what happened and pinpointing their injuries, eyes shining under the artificial light with un-shed tears. "Please help them."

"Of course, Brownie," Milk accepted, grasping his hand into hers in a motherly manner as she led him out of the shop.

"There they go." Chocolate hummed, body leaning towards Coffee to swipe the last bite of his cheese bread out of his hands and into his mouth, moaning at the heavenly taste of the food. "Woah, no wonder you always order it."

"Hey! That's the last bite!" Coffee hollered, hands extending to grasp the dark-skinned male's poncho from the side, shaking his body in pure anger. "You're paying for my next order!"

Chocolate inclined on the counter, the food still not dissolved in his mouth when he turned his head and pressing his lips against Coffee's, forcing his mouth open using his tongue and pushing the last of the cheese bread into the other's cavern.

He pulled away, smirking at the red tint creeping up Coffee's face as he stood there frozen in place, mouth agape in shock and embarrassment before he yelled.

"YOU GODDAMN BASTARD!"
