Tuesday, Exploration quest
Pizza and Cassata

The two trudged through the densely populated forest with little light shining through the cracks between the leaves covering them from the beating heat of the sun, peace surrounding them as they ventured deep to find more seasonings to shove into their bags.

"Do you ever just see something that changes your life and you're like, huh." Pizza sparked up a conversation, head turning to look at Cassata's beautiful side profile of his face enhanced by the morning sunlight beaming down on them, expecting an answer from the other redhead.

"I saw you." The redhead fought back a smile as a deep blush nearly spread throughout the blond's cheeks, tripping over his words as he tried to answer back, placing a hand over his heart.

"Honestly that's so gay and sweet and I love you for it." Pizza giggled and have him a smile, showing off his pearly white teeth with one tooth razor sharp that Cassata is so sure he could go blind from how bright it is.

"Anyways, we should collect a few more seasonings and head back." He told the smaller male who hummed and nodded enthusiastically, a small skip in his steps.

'So cute...' Cassata thought as his head turned back to face forward, adjusting the bag slung around his shoulders, gripping it.

"Ah!" Pizza jumped, launching himself forward in the direction of a bush and shoved his hands inside, rummaging through it with shining eyes that made Cassata raise an eyebrow.

"What did you find?" He asked, kneeling down beside the blond male after retrieving something from deep in the bush, curious and a little nervous.

Pizza twisted his upper body to show it. Aside from a handful of seasonings, a tabby kitten nuzzled its head in the blond's arm, purring in delight as it nearly fell asleep in his arms.

Cassata sighed with a small smile as he gathered the seasonings and stored it, making the mistake of looking into Pizza's eyes.

Pizza looked up at him with puppy eyes shining with hope, his lower lip sticking out in a pout to make the other male succumb to his wishes sooner or later.

"Pizza, you know how hard it is to take care of a pet." Cassata pointed out, steeling his willpower for what the smaller male would say next.

"But Cassata~!" Pizza whined, his hand going up to lightly tug on his wool sweater, eyes showing signs of tears forming in it. "Please~?"

The redhead panicked, his mind shutting down and barely even knowing what to do in this type of situation.

"Okay! Okay! We'll keep it." Cassata caved in, causing the smile always gracing Pizza's lips to come back, one arm snaking around the other's neck, pulling him close for a short kiss.

"You're the best, Cassata!" He beamed as he stood up, skipping away happily with the tabby cat in its arms like a kid who got free candy at a store.

Cassata sighed as he scratched his head in defeat, following after the blond male while contemplating over his life. 'Why am I so weak around him?'

11:00 AM
Tuesday, Restaurant

"We're back!" Pizza announced, earning the attention of a few customers and some food souls operating the front line, spirits lifted when the ball of sunshine finally arrived.

"Welcome back." Brownie smiled as he smoothed down the skirt of the dress, his eyes immediately shifted to the kitten in his arms and he raised an eyebrow at it, tilting his head to the side. "Where did you guys find the kitten?"

"Found it in a bush beside her dead mother, so we decided to bring it back." Cassata answered, a hand resting on Pizza's lower back and gently pushing him in the direction of their Master Attendant's office, which is currently occupied by Ichi, with Brownie tailing behind them then dispersed into the kitchen.

Cassata took the bag from Pizza as he told him to go ahead, opening the door to the office with the bags of seasonings in his hands.

Pizza, as his usual stubbornness towards Cassata and him only, decided to wait directly outside of the office, the kitten burying her face in the fold of his elbow (I don't know what it's called) in contentment, dozing off to sleep.

"There were no Fallen Angels around the area, so we should be safe for now." Cassata added as he ended his report, causing Ichi to hum lowly as he packed away the seasonings.

"Alright, I'll—." Ichi's sentence was cut off when the door flung open, revealing a disheveled Sandwich panting from the doorway and trying to catch his breath.

"I'm sorry for the disturbance!" He said a little too loudly for his liking, collapsing to the floor due to his legs giving out under him. "But there's a dine-and-dash customer!"

"Shit." Ichi cursed under his breath, hopping over the table and bolting out the door as he called out for Brownie, B-52, Vodka, Napoleon Cake, and Pastel De Nata.

"Are you okay?" Cassata padded over to the fallen Sandwich and gently nudged his body with his foot, tilting his head to the side in confusion.

"I'm... fine..." Sandwich heaved, rolling to lay on his back, chest rising and deflating in a rapid manner. "Just... give me a minute."

Cassata hummed in reply and walked out, immediately spotting Pizza leaning against the wall beside the door, waiting for him as he stroked the kitten's fur.

"I told you to go ahead." Cassata sighed in exasperation, yet it diminished in an instant the second Pizza stuck his bottom lip out in a pout, putting on his puppy-dog eyes.

"But I wanted to wait for you." Pizza reasoned, closing the gap between them to clasp his hand into the other's, resting his forehead against Cassata's chest. "Am... I not enough for you?"

Cassata leaned down to inhale the scent of apples and cream from the shorter male's shampoo, his free hand going under Pizza's chin to gently tilt his head up, pressing a kiss on his forehead.

"Of course you're more than enough, baby."

Pizza chuckled softly at his reply, standing on his toes to steal a kiss from Cassata with a cheeky smile. "Let's go!"

Cassata couldn't help but laugh at the other food soul's childish demeanour, letting him drag him out of the restaurant and to god knows where, inevitably ditching Cheese to have their own time.

"Aren't you going after them?" Gingerbread asked the other food soul standing beside her after watching the whole ordeal, a hand on her hip.

"Nah, I'll let them have their fun time." Cheese answered, a smirk gracing her lips. She is so going to tease them to no end.

1:00 PM
Tuesday, Master Attendant's bedroom

Rice pouted as she sat beside the bed of their Master Attendant, one hand holding the semi-cold hand of Akumu's, waiting for her to wake up.

"Rice." Toast called out as he walked in, approaching the other food soul and patting her on the head to calm her down.

She turned her head to look at the other food soul, lazily humming in reply. "Is there... anything you need?"

"I wanted to check up on you." He reasoned, carefully sitting on the bed and crossed his legs, eyes scanning their Master Attendant's unconscious body. "Anything that happened?"

"None as of now." Rice shook her head, tightly gripping on Akumu's hand as tears build up in her eyes. "I hope Master Attendant could wake up soon."
