If Raindrop Cake has one wish the gods will fulfill, it's the one where the ground can swallow him up and never to be seen again.

Hopeless, he thinks, as he burns holes in Bonito Rice's back as they worked his way around the kitchen, completely absorbed in their work to the point they couldn't even feel Raindrop's fiery eyes. Sakuramochi, on the other hand, knows what the older food soul is feeling, after decrypting his cody words that seem to have no context at first.

"Raindrop Cake, when will you...?" Sakuramochi gestured to the male with the cat ears then back at him, indicating something. Raindrop Cake merely shook his head with a frown gracing his lips.

"It's easier said than done." He let one of their cats jump onto his lap and his hand petted the animal in an instant, tearing his eyes away from Bonito Rice. Sakuramochi tilted her head as she shifted in her seat.

Sakuramochi's eyes darted to Raindrop Cake to Bonito Rice and back, eyes holding a tinge of pity and confusion. The game two nights ago gave the eldest male an opportunity to convey his feelings towards the cat-eared male, but he seems to not take the hint.

She pursed her lips in deep thought. Maybe she will have to get Sanma's help after all.

"Raindrop Cake, I'm heading out for a little while." She stood up and brushed her skirt down, sending a glance on his way.

"Sure, be back before dusk." Raindrop Cake hummed, then padded feet set off to find the food soul

"So you're asking me for advice on confessing..."

"Yes."

"For Raindrop Cake...?"

The two stood in silence in the empty room partly filled with cats of different sizes and breeds, an atmosphere of awkwardness enveloping them.

Sanma hummed under his breath, a kitten perching on his head and another in his embrace, lips pursed in thought. "I'm not supposed to be the one you should take advice to but I'll try.

"I know every day at 6:00 PM, Bonito Rice and Raindrop Cake go outside to admire the Cherry Blossom trees, he can use that opportunity to confess."

Sakuramochi could see he wanted to say more, so she piped up. "I'm sure there's more you want to say."

"Ah..." His lips cracked into a sheepish smile, grabbing the kitten from his head and set it down on the floor. "He must go straight to the point. No cryptic words, nothing."

Sakuramochi pursed her lips and hummed, nodding her head excitedly. "Okay. Thank you for the advice, Sanma!"

The food soul pranced away, leaving Sanma in the room with a small smile gracing his lip. Good luck, Raindrop Cake.

"Knock knock~!" A voice sang as a silhouette entered the room to fill the void that Sakuramochi left. The smile went wider when he saw Sukiyaki enter the room, seemingly giddy today.

"What brings you here, Sukiyaki?"

"You, of course! Who else~?"

The purr laced in Sukiyaki's voice made Sanma's cheeks flush red, causing the other food soul to giggle and saunter towards him.

"I'm back."

Raindrop Cake looked up from feeding the cats at Sakuramochi's announcement, fairly surprised at how quickly she came.

"Welcome back, Sakuramochi." Bonito Rice greeted back, walking out of the room with a few cats in tow, a small smile gracing their lips as they sat down beside Raindrop Cake. "Where did you run off to?"

"I just visited Sanma, that's all." She hummed, joining the two in feeding the cats, feeling a sense of security rushing through her veins. "I asked him about some things."

"Like what?"

Sakuramochi froze for a moment when Bonito Rice but she composed herself, a small smile playing her lips as she faced the side profile of the said male.

"Classified information."

Bonito Rice gave her a puzzled look but hummed in reply anyway, continuing to feed the cats.

Sakuramochi gave Raindrop Cake a knowing look in which the other male caught. With an indifferent expression, he let out an inaudible sigh and sent Bonito Rice an empty look.

'How could I... reveal my feelings to you?' Raindrop Cake thought solemnly, letting a cat jump onto his lap.

Sakuramochi managed to tell Sanma's advice to him moments before they went out to admire the Cherry Blossoms.

Raindrop Cake let out a sigh as Bonito Rice wheeled him out, eyes fixated on the blossoms above him, heart beating against his ribcage as he mustered up all of his courage. "Bonito Rice..."

Bonito Rice hummed, turning their head to face Raindrop Cake, an eyebrow raised when a light pink hue spreads across his cheeks.

Raindrop Cake casted his eyes to the side, refusing to look the other male in the eyes as he steeled himself for rejection. "I... I love you..."

Bonito Rice's ears twitched, surprised at the sudden and blunt confession, before their lips cracked into a small smile and nuzzled its head against his cheek, purring.

Raindrop Cake couldn't help but smile softly at the affection, lightly scratching behind Bonito Rice's ear, hearing them softly purr at the gesture.

Sakuramochi giggled as she watched the scene unfold, her smile stretching from ear to ear that is hidden behind her hand.
