Wednesday, Restaurant

"Boston is picking a fight with Master Attendant again." Sweet Tofu sighed from behind the counter as he watched the said food soul argue with Akumu in the middle of the restaurant right before he goes out to explore.

Sweet Tofu took a sip of his drink with an eyebrow raised, eyes glued to the drama scene before he had to choke on his drink when their Attendant pulled a kitchen knife from out of nowhere and pressed the sharp end on Boston Lobster's neck.

Boston Lobster raised his hands up in surrender, eyes wide in shock and confusion and went out to fulfill Akumu's wishes, causing their Attendant to smile in relief and contentment.

"Sweet, you're drooling."

Sweet Tofu wiped off the bit of drool running down his chin as soon as Spicy Gluten pointed it out, a smirk upon her face.

"But damn, I've never seen Boston back down from a fight so easily., especially against Master Attendant." Spicy Gluten crossed her arms as she tilted her head to the side, a pout now gracing her lips. "I've only witnessed him fight Peking Duck and give up after his first sentence."

"Maybe he and Master Attendant finally bridged their ties together," Sweet Tofu theorised, rubbing his index finger against his chin in deep thought. "Though I'm not sure."

"I'm pretty sure, after that incident, they seem a little closer." The other food soul took a glance at Spicy Gluten after voicing her theory, but he didn't say anything in reply.

"Steak, slow down!"

"We're not until we get there. What's wrong with a little recklessness after ditching Gingerbread?"

Red Wine grumbled under his breath, trying to catch up in par with Steak's footsteps in the midst of running through the forest, eyes glued onto their intertwined hands that he couldn't help but miss the feeling of this. He felt nostalgic, being able to spend time with the other food soul; laughing, admiring, having fun.

Steak slowed down his steps before completely halting, tugging the other food soul's hand to bring him closer to him. Red Wine, for once, didn't mind the heat radiating off of Steak, absorbed into looking out the ocean.

"How did you find this... place...?" Red Wine trailed off, scanning their surroundings, standing on a cliff that overlooks the vast ocean, gleaming under the sunlight.

"During my exploration quest last week." Steak answered, joining him in admiring the body of water called Ocean of Stars, due to the nearly clear liquid littered with shining pearls and shells resting on the floor. "We could go stargazing here later tonight, what do you think?"

"After ditching Gingerbread like that?" Red Wine chuckled, an unidentifiable glint in his eyes when he turned his head to face the side profile of the fiery red-haired food soul, smirking. "I would love to."

"I'm pretty sure Pizza and Cassata left Cheese alone, so Gingerbread would most likely be with her."

Silence fell upon them, with Steak's head turning to meet eyes with the one centimetre taller food soul, the sun shining to create a halo above his head — in contrast to their usual facade.

The two looked down on their intertwined hands, a thumb running over gloved knuckles in a soothing manner, before all peace was broken by fallen leaves crunching under 2 pairs of feet, closing in towards them.

A figure jumped higher than the height of the trees, their weapons drawn yet they have to squint due to the sun blaring their eyes to make out a platinum blond hair with ivory wings.
