CHAPTER 21

"AYON! AYON SIYA!!!!"

A loud voice caught everyone's attention. Paglingon namin, we saw Jace being harrassed by different women.

Agad akong napatakbo palapit sa kanya and tried to shove away the women who keep on harrassing him.

"OMG!!!!!!!!!!"

Nagsitilian silang lahat nang makalapit na ako kay Jace and shield him with my arms through hugging him.

"I can't believe this! We just have found them, finally!!!!"

Sigaw nung isa.

"At totoo nga, they really really are a lovely and sweet couple!!!!!"

Sigaw naman ng isa which caused them all to squeal again.

Napatitig kami ni Jace sa isa't-isa. I realized that I'm still hugging him so immediately detached myself.

"MR. & MS.... CONGRATS! YOU ARE NOW GETTING MARRIED!!!"

Sabay-sabay nilang sabi. Nanlaki pareho ang mga mata namin ni Jace sa sinabi nila.

Did we just hear it right?

Me? And Jace?

GETTING MARRIED?

Holy crap!

No. Fuckin'. Way!!!!!!!

"Ah... No, no! We aren't a couple. We're just... colleague."

I waved my hands to them as a sign of protest. Agad naman silang natahimik sa pagtitili. They looked at one another and gazed at us suspiciously.

"Naku miss, di niyo kami maloloko. We have enough proofs."

"Oo nga. Besides, the prize's half/half naman eh. It will be benefitable for all of us so please, wag na kayong magdeny. Pakasal na kayo, please."

Naguluhan ako sa sinabi nila. What prize? What half/half?

"What do you mean?"

Tanong ni Jace which made us all look at him. He has his normal serious facial expression again while waiting for their answer.

"Ah..."

One of the girls started uttering, locking her eyes towards Jace's face as if she's seeing a celebrity. She even dally tucked her hair to her ears causing it to look quite flirty. Napairap naman ako sa ginawa niya. Magsasalita na sana siya ulit but the other girl beside her who's a bit boyish cut her off.

"Ganito kasi, Sir. You're one of the three nominees sa wedding booth to have their mock wedding package."

"What mock wedding package?"

Tanong ulit ni Jace. Naningkit naman ang mga mata ko nang marinig kong nagbubulungan yung ibang nasa likod.

"Omg. Look at his jawline."

"Yes. Pak na pak! Panga palang, ulam na!"

I instantly pushed myself to Jace. Napansin siguro nila na sobrang lapit ko na kay Jace kaya agad silang nanahimik. I smirked, then.

But for a second, I realized what I just did. I'm acting like a possessive girlfriend. Geez! I slowly took three small steps to distance myself from Jace. Mabuti nalang at di niya nahalata.

"Mock Wedding Package, ikakasal kayo ng gf mo sa wedding booth plus you'll be given a free date outside the campus depending on your free time."

"At hindi lang 'yan, may cash prize din, which is paghahatian natin."

They all squealed again nang mamention ang cash prize. They all seem excited. Ganun ba kalaki ang cash prize for them to act like this? Well, I can just pay them without trying to get us married.
