Chapter Two

Sorry minna! I decided to Leave Wendy and Carla out of this story.. I hope you don't mind and I will try to update as much as possible quicker updates will be coming after I finish "The power of Emotion" Alright and Enjoy here is chapter two!! p.s These first few chapters are always boring fillers but it'll get exciting anyway on with the story.

The green orb started moving freely around the table making clicking and scratching sounds.

"What the hell?" Gray exclaimed everyone else had the same reaction the thing just started moving around and no one has touched it.

Suddenly it started to crack. The cracks shining a brilliant white Lucy put her hands in front of her face shielding herself from the powerful light. Natsu hoped it would burst into flames so he could "Taste test" but was let down when the light dimmed down it just shattered to pieces then shimmered away without a trace.

"Well that was weird" Lucy stated everyone nodded in agreement but shook it off. Natsu whined about loosing his meal but then popped back up bumping into Gray in the process.

"Flame brain did you have to bump into me?" Gray shouted an angry aura around his Natsu pressed his forehead against his steam radiating off his back.

"What'd you call me Popsicle stick!"

"Walking Furnace!"

"Walking Ice Cube!"

Lucy sweat-dropped and grabbed her bag. "Mira I think I'm gonna go. I'm really tired."

Mira gave Lucy a concerned look she didn't buy the "tired" story "Are you sure you just got here! I'm sure Natsu would love to go on a job." Natsu paused his fight with Gray turning to where he heard his name. "Oi, Ice princess I'll be right back"

"Natsu get back here don't run away, Coward." Natsu stopped walking and turned around his expression furious.

"I am not a coward!"

"Are too!"

"Am not!"

"Are too"

Back at the bar, Lucy sighed "I think he's a little busy with Gray we will just go on one tomorrow. I'll see you later!"

Lucy's pov

Ughn. My gut feeling is telling me something's wrong but what? I can't tell anything that's wrong right now the temperatures normal, no out of the blue sickness, no bad storms. It kinda just seemed perfect so why-

I slammed straight into my front door. I guess I was too lost in thought to notice where I was going. I rubbed my head knowing there was going to be a bruise there tomorrow. I set down my bag and took off my shoes. I wonder if a bath will make the feeling go away cause it's really freaking me out. Turning on the water, I let the tub fill and put some good smelling bubbles in it.

"Ahh..." I whispered softly sinking my bare skin into the warm water. It helped. A lot but, the worry was tugging at my chest maybe someone was going to get hurt on a mission or maybe Natsu and Gray would end up destroying the Guild in their fight today or maybe-

Alright Lucy.. Your overthinking everything right now you never know maybe the feeling was wrong.

Normals pov

Natsu and Gray were finally done fighting after Erza almost killed them. Natsu had his back turned to Gray and his arms crossed and a pouty-face.

"Lu-shee!" Happy yelled flying all around the Guild looking at everyone's face but didn't find the one he was looking for. "Lu-shee! Where are you hiding! You promised me a fiiiish!" Happy; not looking where he was going ran straight into Natsu's head.

"Eh, Happy watch where your going." Natsu muttered still upset about not being able to finish his fight.

"Natzuuu I can't find Lu-shee and she promised me a fish!"

Natsu's expression changed from angry to concerned in an instant. "You sure she isn't here?"

"No I looked everywhere!"

"Then we gotta go look for her she's probably at her ap-"

"Apartment. Correcr Natsu she said she was tired and wanted to rest so went home for the day.." Mira interrupted.

"Is Lu-shee okay?" Happy asked still concerned for his lack of fish.

"I'm sure she's fine! She wanted me to tell you to meet her here tomorrow and you guys can go on a jobn!"

"Alright!" Natsu exclaimed high-fiving Happy.

"NATSU!" Lucy screamed as she jolted awake. She shuttered at the dream she had just experienced.

Lucy didn't know where she was it seemed like a rain forest. She walked around shouting too see if anyone was there. She heard faint sobs coming from the west so she decided to follow them. Finding the source, She saw herself sobbing in her sleep. Natsu was there too his arm wrapped around her tears running down his face. She didn't see Happy around which was really unusual.

A few minutes later Natsu started coughing slightly then they turned violent. Lucy tried to run to him to help him but she couldn't move. Dream-Lucy finally awoke helping Natsu cough but eventually he started sparkling and fading away. Lucy started crying she was seeing her best friend die and she couldn't move. Dream-Lucy was shouting something about everyone leaving her then Natsu finally faded away completely. Lucy didn't know what was going on she shut her eyes tight and started pinching her skin begging herself to wake up and that's when she did.

Lucy breathed heavily she had to know if Natsu was okay. She didn't bother changing only slipped on a pair of slippers and bolted for Natsu's house. She was praying it was just a dream and that he was alive because if he wasn't she wouldn't know what she would do.

Arriving she pounded on his door. No one came and she began getting worried. She pounded on it again but stopped hearing a faint

"Agh shut up I'm coming"

Natsu opened the door and Lucy wrapped her arms around his neck breathing in his musky sent. She failed to notice he wasn't wearing a shirt but she didn't care. He wasn't dead he was okay..

"Luce? You okay?" Lucy didn't reply she just kept hold of him worried to let go. "It's 1am why are you here?" Her eyes widened she didn't know it was this late. She released him but kept one hand on his shoulder. " Here come in its cold outside " She accepted his offer sleepiness once again taking over. She sat on his "couch" that was covered in clothes and other things. He sat down next to her letting out a big yawn. Lucy didn't want to talk she just wanted to take in his presence that dream made her realize she needed Natsu.

"So?" Natsu said accusingly

"So..."

"So why are you here this late? You never answered" Natsu and Lucy both kept their voices low mindful that Happy was still sleeping.

"I-I" She shuttered at the dream again. "Just a bad dream.."

"OH.. But why'd you come here? What was dream about?"

Lucy shook her head she didn't want to remember it or even tell him. She didn't even know how her brain could imagine Natsu dying. "First place that came to my mind is all.." She lied

"Well you can sleep in my bed if you want!" His voice laced with enthusiasm "Sleep over!" Lucy chuckled seeing his smile. She had to repeat this sentence in her head to keep her from crying.

He's alive He's okay.. It was just a dream..
