Chapter Eighteen (Final)

It's been four days since the group had gotten back from Cantrell island. The guild had tons of parties for their arrival but mostly they just wanted a reason to have a party and drink booze.

Since Lucy and Natsu kissed they have officially been named a couple. Mira almost had a heart attack when Natsu told her the news. Lucy still didn't come out of her apartment she claimed she was "Working on something and will come when she finishes" Natsu always tried to sneak the secret "thing" she was working on out of her but he annoyed her too much and got a Lucy kick! Happy has been very clingy to Carla who- as always was still rejecting him. Juvia still followed Gray around like crazy but he didn't mind, Gray liked to have Juvia as company ever side Cantrell he realized he actually enjoyed Juvia. Erza is still the same as always nothing has changed with her, still the fierce-cake loving Erza everyone knows and loves. Gajeel and Levy are now super close, they have been ever since they got off Cantrell. Mira believes they will date soon but Gajeel and Levy both deny it.

Lucy rubbed her eyes trying to wipe away the sleepiness. She has barely gotten any sleep because she has been writing. Yep that's right! But she hasn't been working on her usual novel, Lucy is working on a side novel and she was almost finished with it. All day and all night she constantly wrote only stopping to get food or to see Natsu. Lucy decided to write because it helps her with processing guilt, Yet no one-

Not even Natsu! Knows what Lucy is writing about, Lucy promised Levy she could read this one once she was finished with it and in about 5 minutes she will be.

*5 minutes later*

"Finally! I'm done now I can go show Levy!" She picked up all the papers and sprinted for the door. Lucy turned the knob them smelled something foul. She sniffed her shirt then started coughing at the smell. She forgot that she hasn't taken a shower since they gotten back from Cantrell.

"Levy can wait another hour.. I should freshen up.." Lucy said

Lucy hopped into the shower rinsing off all the dirt and grime off her body. After that she put on a simple outfit. Just a tank-top and shorts nothing special. She looked in the mirror mentally approving her appearance. Grabbing her papers, she sprinted to the Guild when she opened the door everyone greeted her and welcomed her back. She didn't want to seem rude but she wanted Levy to read her latest novel so, she quickly said thank you to everyone then spotted Levy.

"Lu-chan! Your back!" Levy said then jumped out of her chair to hug her.

"I missed you Levy-chan! But I want you to read this! I promised you would be the first one!" Lucy handed her a giant stack of papers then she heard

"Luce! Come here!"

Lucy waved then turned back to Levy "Well Natsu's calling me so I gotta go!"

Levy sat back in her chair and started getting comfy then put on her reading glasses. Not her special ones just her regular pair that helps her see a little better. Levy flipped the first page to see the title of the book.
