I ran down the hallway along with Jack, Kendal, Selina, and about half of the entire school behind me. When we got to the place of where the screaming was loudest, my locker . The scream stopped and I knew I had to somehow make up a lie about why there was a scream inside of my locker. "Sorry guys, it's my ringtone. I guess I had forgotten to put it on hold." I shrugged. Everyone piled out of the hallway after I lied. I don't want to tell anyone that I have a picture that is alive. Charlie would probably end up in a freak show or something.
I open up my locker, people still looking at me before piling out. I unzip my pencil bag and low and behold, Charlie was there looking at me, with her deadly animated picture glare. "What took you so long? I was stuck in your pencil bag in the dark for who-knows-how long!" Charlie glared st me angerly.
"Sorry." I muttered, I tried to calm down Charlie with my clam pleading hands. Mom says that I have a "gift" for calming people down. I guess I should try my "gift" on a picture. "Fine! I guess that you can act like I'm just a picture and not a living, breathing, person! Just throw me in your pencil bag!" Charlie turned her back on me. "Look, I'm sorry, Charlie, that I'm neglacting you,"
"Pft, you can say that right." Charlie inturupted.
"but I have a life outside of your needs." I finish. "You know what, just forget it. Forget all of the things that I've done for you! Forget how I helped you entirely with your monstrosity that you call your face!" Charlie yelled. "Charlie, that was really hurtful." I am super surprised at how Charlie is acting. She usually isn't this annoyed at me.
"Well, Ella, the truth can hurt ya-know." Charlie said. I felt like crying. "I thought you were my friend." I wept. "And I thought you thought of me more than just a friend, I thought you think of me as family. But apparently not!" Charlie yells. I can tell Charlie is trying to choke back tears. "Fine, if you really are going to insult me like that then, then, I guess we aren't friends anymore." I cried.
"I guess not." Charlie turned her back on me. I put her up inside of my locker door and put a magnet on her picture. "Goodbye, Charlie, I guess you really don't care for me. Just for you to leave me." I closed the locker door with a slam.
Does Charlie really think of me like that? Where I'm not pretty and doesn't care for how I look? Do I let on that vibe? It doesn't matter, as soon as I get home I'm sending Charlie where she belongs. I'll send her back into the camera.
