Day 9: you discover a new gem stone

"You ready to go to the mines today?" My farther asks as I'm throwing on a jumper.
"Never could be readier," i say with the biggest grin. My dad smiles as i run off for the car.
"Wait up we still need to load the car," he yells after me.

"We've been digging for hours, we haven't found a single gem." I whine flopping down on the dirt, thats when i see it a shinning glimmer in the rock. "Wait i think I've found something." I get up picking up my pickaxe and walking over to the dusty dirt.
"What is it?" My dad asks taking a step back from where he was mining.
"It's nothing I've ever seen before, is there even a gem that looks like this?" I ask holding up a perfectly rainbow rock.
