All of their families met on Halloween at Blazes house. It was very well decorated in the spirit of Halloween. Pumpkins, beautiful lights, witch hats, and orange and black balloons. Aidens mother had prepared a hearty Alfredo penne pasta. Kassandra's mother had prepared cinnamon rolls and a strawberry rhubarb pie. Blaze mom had prepared butternut squash soup and pizzas. It was a very nice gathering. That's what Blaze was busy with.
All the three went up to Blazes room. They talked about the mystery at hand. Blaze said,"It can't be. The riddle seems incomplete. Like the first part isn't there." Aiden assured that nothing else was there with the letter and the diary. "Yes, the diary. It is obviously dated back to 'the history'. Why don't we read it maybe he wrote down about something strange or unusual that happened.". "Ok, I'll read it and try to find something meanwhile we also have to go to the library for clues.".Aiden said.
Aiden and Kassandra thanked Mrs. Matthews for the wonderful evening and headed their ways. Aiden remembered that his grandpa had given him a locket as his possessions. As they reached Aiden ran upto his room and opened the drawer where he had kept his locket. It wasn't there anymore. He turned the room upside down. That was his most precious possession that his grandpa gave him before leaving. He also noticed that Leo was missing. He was devastated. He retired for the night hoping that Leo would return and he might have kept his locket somewhere else.
