What was before them?

The door had opened up to reveal a small secret room and not just any room the room where the chiefs used to keep their documents. Many historians tried to find this room to reveal secrets of the past. None of them were successful. A big chunk of history had never been revealed. But they found it. They were astonished. They moved around looking at the many documents and papers. Without being have to be told they started searching. Anything they could find.

They saw copies of all articles on the mysterious disappearances all kept together in one file. All pages were old and crinkly so it had to be taken extreme care of. There was a page with name of suspects that could've been involved in this act. The name of Owen Goodhart was also there but scratched away." It would take us days to understand and read all these papers." Blaze said. "We don't need to read all of them only the ones related to the mystery." Aiden said.

They started searching all drawers and shelves. But they found nothing. So they went home. Kassandra called only Blaze and told him to meet her at the same place. They hadn't locked the room again. Kassandra was already in and Blaze went in too. He said,"Where are the others?". " I didn't ask them to come. Aiden would've asked Jennifer to come too. I didn't want her here when I share what I found. We can tell him later." Kassie assured. They went in the room to one of the desks . It looked quite normal. Kassandra bent down and pushed a small button which wasn't noticeable. And a compartment opened up. There was only one document there and they opened it. The truth that was revealed was horrifying. The person behind all the disappearances was none other than Aidens grandfather. "Wait what. This is impossible. If he was the one behind it why is Aiden one of the saviours? ". Kassandra said.

" No it is fake. Don't you see . This document is new. Someone took the real one and left this one. Some enemy of the his grandfather."Blaze said. They took the document to Aidens house and showed it to him. " But how do we know who took it." Aiden said. He was now a little scared of what he was seeing. But he was yet determined that his grandpa had nothing to do with it.

"We will have to go and see for some clues. They must have left it behind. Don't you remember that Jennifer said she had come there before. What if she built our trust so that she could throw us off the scent. Maybe she scratched out Owens name. I think that the Goodharts have something to do with the disappearances. We have to ask Jennifer to tell us the truth."

The next day Jennifer was asked to come to the same place. When she arrived she was rained on with questions. Aiden asked,"We know you were lying and tell us the truth. Where is the real document?" "Fine I'll tell you everything. I am not one of the saviours. I hid the real one."

" Where is it?!" Kassandra asked loosing her cool.
