"You can't blame gravity for falling in love."

"I'm so sorry. Let me help you." A voice said.

The person was offering me a hand to help me to get up.

I looked up and saw the most beautiful boy I have ever seen in my life.

The first thing you notice about him, were his eyes, they were light blue.

His hair was dark blonde or light brown. I couldn't really tell which one of the two it is. In the sun it is probably blonde and in the dark it is brown. He was tall and around my age.

He looked at me with a worried face.

"Are you okay? I didn't mean to bump into you. I wasn't looking." The boy said.

I gave him my hand and he pulled me up. We were standing very close together for a second.

I felt something, it was like electricity.

I took a step back.

"Oh, ehh it is okay. I wasn't looking either."

I was grabbing everything from the ground. Luckily the groceries haven't got out of the bag.

The boy was trying to help me by picking up my backpack.

"What the hell did you put in this backpack? I almost broke my back by picking it up." He said while looking surprised.

"My books are in that bag." I said.

I finally had everything. In one hand I held the grocery bag and in the other one I held three books.

He looked at the books in my hand.

"Yeah, I know. But the library was so big and beautiful so I took as much as I could carry." I said really fast because I was nervous.

I was reaching to grab my backpack from his hand but he moved his hand away.

"Where do you live?" He said.

I raised my eyebrow.

"With my parents. Why?" I said.

Why does this dude I met one minute ago wants to know where I live?

I didn't expect him to laugh.

"You're funny. I just want to help you carry al your stuff. My mother would be very disappointed if I let you walk away with all this stuff without offering you to help." He said.

Should I let him help me?

I don't know this guy. But he is of my age and I can beat him with one of my big books if he tries to do something.

A book is a good weapon I learned that you can beat someone with literally everything.

You can ask my brothers. One time I was in a fight with Souf because he took away my bookmark out of the book I was reading at that time. They always do that because they know I hate it.

So I slapped him with my book. I was reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

He never took away my bookmark out of my book again.

"You're new here, aren't you?" He asked me.

"Yes, I just moved here."

"To which high school are you going?"

"Dobbington High School and you?"

"Me too. Do we have to go to the left or the right?" He asked with a sweet smile. Knowing I haven't agreed with helping me home yet.

But if he wants to carry a heavy backpack, who am I to stop him?

"We have to go to the left, I only live a few blocks away."

"I have to go to the left too. What a coincidence." He smiled at me.

He has a beautiful smile.

We walked in silence for a few seconds.

But that didn't last for long.

I saw him falling backwards on the ground. I rushed to him.

"Are you okay?" I was looking for blood or bruises.

"What happened?" I asked while getting up.

"I fell backwards because of your heavy backpack." He said while he was acting like he had to cry.

That idiot fell on purpose.

"You're so dramatic." I said to him while I was smiling.

"It's a gift." He said with a smile.

"Get up, Dora. And get the backpack, we're almost there."

"You know that I just literally fell for you, right?"

"You're hilarious, man." I told him while I was fake laughing.

"The next time I'm going to make you laugh real and not fake. You know what?"

He stopped walking and turned to me. He put one hand up and the other one he put on his heart.

"I, Alexander James Carter, swear that i will make you laugh at least once in my life or I would die an awful death."

So his name is Alexander.

He doesn't know that Leila and I watched hundreds of those try not to laugh videos. I'm a pro.

"Deal. Thanks for helping me. We have arrived." I pointed at my house. I grabbed my backpack from him and walked to my door. I felt his eyes on my back.

I grabbed the key from my pocket and looked at him.

"Goodbye Alexander." I smiled at him.

"Goodbye, ehm. I don't even know your name. What is your name?" He asked me confused.

"Bye, Dora." I said to him with a smile and closed the door.

I continued smiling when I heard him talking to himself behind the door.

"How did you not ask her name? How can you be so stupid?"
