Lauren POV

Spending time with someone almost everyday will bring your spirit constantly closer than intended. Endless arguments for silly reason becomes normal in our daily routine, walking every weekend become part of our daily activity including the eating habit of different kinds of ice cream. Every night he will always come to my room and play with Jasmine. Whenever he's busy he will always take an extra day off to spent his precious time with me and Jasmine having movie marathon in the living room.

'In every beginning, it has always an ending' as the saying goes but in reality it is how it works. Perhaps it depends on you if you want the ending to be beautiful as you imagine or leave it dull and regretful. In my case, I wasn't regretting any of this, staying for more than months wasn't disaster as I thought it would be. Maybe it will be the ending of our everyday bickering but that doesn't mean we can't be friends for life time.

I smile cheerfully at last, I'll be able to curl in my own bed and do my old routine. I sigh, I have no idea why this thing inside my chest is becoming heavy as my suitcase. I shrugged the thought and convince myself to be happy, that's what I wanted at the first place. I gently tie my blonde hair and look at my appearance one last time in the mirror. The mummified look already gone and was replaced by my real look before the accident occur. Although a small scars was still there but all the pain I endure vanished away. I couldn't be more thankful for that, I wouldn't be nuisance to him anymore. I ended my self inspections in a seconds and drag my suitcase downstairs. I wasn't expecting him to come home this early but that exactly happened and he's already towering me, trying to grab my suitcase in attempt to help me.

"Are you really leaving? For real?"

He sounds a bit cold but I regret looking at his eyes. His hazel brown one has full of different kind of emotions that directly gazing at my green one.

"Yeah, we've talk about this already besides I'm perfectly fine now with no single scratch. Don't count this ugly scars though."

I tried to sounds cheerful to lighten the mood but my voice came out muffled for some reasons. I look down to avoid his stares and fidgeted my fingers.

"Am I allowed to visit you at least right?"

He ask me with the hint of seriousness lingering in his voice with a begging tone.

"Of course, you're welcome to come. Anytime as you wish, come on it's getting late. I have to catch the first trip in metro."

He knitted his eyebrows and drag my suitcase with him.

"You're not taking metro green eyes. I'll drive you home."

"You don't have to, besides you look exhausted. Go and rest, Ms. Harper cook food before she left."

I picked up Jasmine along with my sling bag.

"Come on, I don't want to argue with you for this matter. I'll drive you home and that's final."

"Ugh, you're making it hard for me to leave in peace."

"I wasn't making it hard for you green eyes, it's on the other way around."

My throat become dry with his statement. He crack a faint smile before ushering me to follow him. I nod and leave my letter for Ms. Harper and him on the counter table before I made my way to follow him outside. He place my suitcase on the trunk of his car. He unlocked it and I casually hop in while waiting for him. After a seconds, he abruptly hop in and maneuver his car. He turned the ignition without uttering any words. I never dare to spare any glances on him, instead I look at the window throughout the drive and played with the silver bracelet in my hands.
