the sheriff helped taehyung up and tried to steady his own mind that was confused.
this was the guy who taehyung had allegedly been arrested for murdering. something was really fishy and the aura emitting from the man in front of them was so inexplicably evil.
jungkook felt like throwing up. why was this man alive? he had people mourning over his death and here he was smirking like he had just won something. and maybe he had.
"what the hell is going on?" taehyung aimed his gun at the man and the man chuckled.
"i'd be careful if i were you. your precious jiminie is still with me you know. you kill me and you can consider him dead."
"you have a death wish, don't you." taehyung said through gritted teeth.
"perhaps. but who's going to believe you when you say that i'm alive? you've got one sherrif with you. both of you are even being investigated because they suspect you killed me. tell me who's winning now."
"what do you want?" jungkook asked, sighing.
"to tell you the truth, of course. hoseok ordered my murder, taehyung. your precious boyfriend."
taehyung's fist clenched and he told himself not to let his emotions rule him.
"he killed himself, jaehyo. he couldn't have. your murder was much later."
"and who said he couldn't tell his assassin to commit the deed a while later? you do know you can schedule these things taehyung. i expected better you know, from you."
"keep running that mouth of yours and i'll start hurting you." jungkook breathed out.
"oh hey hey, already got your new toy, jeon? are y'all an item now? i mean i wouldn't be surpri-"
jungkook rolled his eyes and shot the ceiling above jaehyo twice, cause a few more crumbs to fall.
"what do you want?" the sheriff asked this time, trying hard not to kill the man then and there.
"i just told you. for you to know the truth. hoseok isn't the person you think he is. oh and by the way, he didn't kill himself. i held him at gunpoint and made him write that."
"his body was found and we went to his funeral, you sick fuck. who do you think you're fooling?" taehyung was going to lose his cool anytime now.
"oh taehyung. i pushed him off that ledge."
jungkook pressed his eyes tightly, trying to rid himself of the image that popped in his mind.
"okay, i don't know what you're trying to do. but you're going to be arrested after this. i hope you know that." the sheriff looked at the man.
