Chapter 16 (Yebo in control)

The sun is feeling tire too, and it is preparing to go home. The light is getting dimmer. Without realizing, we spent the whole afternoon here. Yebo is still holding my hand walking but now we are walking towards the car and preparing to go home.

"How are you feeling today" I ask Yebo

"The best day I ever had. I hope it last forever" Yebo told me.

I don't know what he means. Yebo sometimes speaks in depth for his young age. Although I felt a leap of joy in my heart that he is enjoying today but still.... I am worry for about the word "forever'.., I am thinking maybe, I think too much. Teenagers can be expressive when they are having a good time.

"Yebo, best days will always come, if you choose to enjoy your days" I told him.

I think I might complicate him. He looks at me puzzlely and nod.

It is now 6 pm. We are caught in the traffic jam. Yebo looks very quiet and I continue to drive till we reach the Wang mansion nearing 6.30 pm.

Mr Lam is already waiting for us. I felt really apologetic. I open my door and Mr Lam came toward me

"I will take these" Mr Lam meaning the basket of food.

I wonder why that young boy didn't come out. I looked into the car and found a sweetly sleeping Wang Yebo. He looks really peaceful and totally sweet. Like a little baby bear. I laugh a little and Mr Lam came to look at the sleeping Yebo.

"Wow, young master must be having a lovely time... he fell asleep. Gosh, I really don't want to wake him up. He carries a smile in his sleep. Look Mr Xiao" Mr Lam gesture me to look at Yebo closely. There is truly a slight curve on his mouth.

"Uh..., maybe I get someone to carry him, don't think my old bones can manage him" Mr Lam told me.

"I can carry him, don't worry" I told Mr Lam.

So, I gently slide the cute baby onto my arms and carry him. The funny thing is Yebo immediately circle his arm around my neck but still closing his eye. I think it is a human instinct for safety. Even though you are sleeping but you hold on to someone or something for safety even in your sleep.

Mr Lam follow me behind as I carry Yebo by the front. He head is resting on my neck and I could feel his warm breathe. A sleeping Yibo is an adorable baby. I put him on the sofa and then I whisper to Mr Lam.

"Let him sleep here for a while, he needs a shower because he play in the sea and bare foot" Mr Lam looks at me with his wide eye.

"Wow!!!!, this must be really fun for him and thank you Mr Xiao" Mr Lam thank me with a slight bow

"I need to go now, you take care of him"

I turned back and told Mr Lam

"Mr grandma's birthday tomorrow, so I cannot come. Let the boy knows" I told Mr Lam.

After that, I left and drove back home

When I arrived at my home and was about to get out of my car. There was a call from an unknown number. I decided to pick the call

"Ge ge, why didn't you wake me up...I want to ..see..you go" Yebo whine.

He really makes me laugh now

"Who is the sleeping beauty, eh, it is you and not me" I laugh.

"It is your grandma birthday tomorrow, must be a very important one, when are you coming?. I had a very wonderful day today" I was a little worry because my semester is starting in five days' time and I needed to do some work before I am back to the Uni.
