Haha I'm just making things up as I go keyboard go tap tap
**Aizawa rubbed the back of his neck as he parked his vehicle, yawning as he did so. He'd just informed his students about internships earlier that day, so they were still going about choosing who to intern under. They had a few days until then, so he'd stick to his teaching schedule until then.
There was that, as well as hero work. He was still a crimefighter, though not as much after becoming a teacher. Still, it's not as if he was opposed to it, he did sign up for it after all.
Yawning once more, he exited his vehicle and promised himself he'd shower the moment he got inside his apartment.
It was late at night, probably around three AM, and he still had work to do. Aizawa was approaching the staircase, when a door from the apartment under his creaked open.
"Ah, Aizawa-San," spoke an elderly lady wearing a night gown. "You're back so late."
"Yeah, sorry if I woke you up, Tsubuki-San," he apologized to his neighbor.
"No no, I couldn't sleep anyway," Tsubuki assured with a laugh. She was a wrinkly old lady, approaching her late eighties but will wearing a bright smile every day.
Naturally, her response prompted him to say, "Oh? And why's that?"
"Ohoho, my granddaughter's just had a baby," Tsubuki answered. "And since she's busy at work after returning from maternity leave, I'm taking care of her at night. But that baby sure has a lot of energy, hohoho."
"That's unfortunate," said Aizawa. "If you want, I can take it off your hands. I'm awake most of the night anyway, between my jobs and duties."
"Oh, is that really alright?" worried Tsubuki.
"Yeah, it's fine." Aizawa had a little experience taking care of babies as a teen, so those skills might be rusty. The old lady would probably have tips.
"Oh, alright. Just for a few days so I can get my sleep schedule back," agreed Tsubuki. "I'll show you how to care for her tomorrow, so stop by then. Good night, Aizawa-San!"
Aizawa waved a goodbye as Tsubuki closed her door, and he took a moment to digest what he'd offered as he walked up the stairs to his place.
It was impulsive, but he just felt like helping out. Now it sort of reminded him of that big, dumb eyed (Name) that practically forced him to let her help in his house. Actually, now that he was fine enough to do it on his own, did that mean she wouldn't come by anymore?
Aizawa was thinking stupid things. It didn't matter what happened between them now, but he'd probably see even less of that girl. Not like he wanted to anyway. No, definitely not.
The door next to his apartment suddenly burst open, and (Name) was standing in the doorway, trembling and brandishing a can in her hand.
"Hands up, intrud-Oh, it's just you Aizawa!" she realized.
"What the heck are you doing?" he winced.
"Oh, this? Sorry, I thought someone was trying to rob you," (Name) explained with a nervous smile. "Since my Quirk isn't good for attacking, I just grabbed a can of pepper spray. Thank goodness I didn't pepper you!" She let out a sigh of relief.
"I don't think I could've been taken down by a little pepper spray," said Aizawa.
"Well-If it's in your eyes it would've hurt a lot," (Name) said, pointing to her eyes stubbornly. "And you wouldn't be able to erase my Quirk. So-Think about that! Ha!" She put a finger to her temple victoriously.
