Three is a CROWD!

By the light of the silvery moon.

'Jessica!' Mrs Amanda said knocking on the door, 'Jessica open this door right now or I'll break it down.'

'Break what down? Doors that I imported from Switzerland?' Mr. Ifeanyi quizzed, 'Look, if she wants to starve herself then let her starve. If she wants to lock up herself and die of hunger then let her be my guest!'

'Ifeanyi don't say that!' Mrs. Amanda retorted, "That's our daughter for crying out loud, watch your words."

'Watch what bloody words? Watch what bloody words?' He shouted, 'She searched the entire galaxy for a man and it is that...that...that carpenter boy that caught her fancy! What nonsense!'

'Ifeanyi!'

'Give me a break, would you Amanda?' He scoffed, 'I mean how gullible can she be? I would expect this from Kelly or Asher but certainly not her! She was born and bred in this country for gods sake, yet she can't recognize a con artist when she sees one?' He hissed, 'Talk about love. What does she know about love? Talk about they love each other, bullshit! He is a 'Boms' boy, Amanda. Boms children are known for their unruly and violent lifestyle. He doesn't know jack about love, all he is doing is using her because she is stupid enough to fall for him!'

'Enough Ifeanyi! How can you say such crude things about your daughter?'

'How can she do such crude things to me? Huh?' He roars, 'After how many years of raising that girl, she couldn't bring home an eligible bachelor. I wouldn't even mind if she had brought home a white man. I wouldn't have minded it at all but, no it's Joseph-the-carpenter that she's in love with. I mean she kicks ever decent one out the door. She kicked James right out the door.'

'She didn't kick James anywhere, you and I both know that James fell in love with Kelly.'

'Well, if she wasn't so stiff necked, I doubt he would've noticed Kelly," he said, 'she chases all of them away and brings me that...ugh!' He groaned, 'this girl is making me so mad! Jessica you had better remain locked behind that door, because if I see you out here, I promise you a well deserved beating. Yes, I'll beat your sense right back into your head and kick out whatsoever spell that numskull has cast on you.'

'Rubbish,' he hissed and walked away.

Suddenly Jessica room down was flung open, 'I promise you that I will never marry anyone else expect him daddy! No one else!'

'You dare challenge me?' Her father said stopping in his tracks.

'I dare a thousand times!' She screamed back defiantly making her father gasp.

Mr Ifeanyi turned bright red and his wife rushed over to his side and restrained him. Mr Ifeanyi looked down at his wife and said, 'She dares to challenge me! This disrespectful and ungrateful child dares to-'

'I will continue to fight for the love of my l-'

'Heish Muhammad Ali, will you not shut up your mouth and go into your room!' Mrs Amanda scolded, 'you're standing there and talking nonsense. By the time your father gets out of my arms he will beat the fighter out of you!'

"Hey babe" Gillis said, "a little help with the door?"

"Sure," she said rising to her feet and pulling the doors open for him.
