"Ah-ha! I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! I knew it!" Mr. Ifeanyi shouted slapping a file on his palm as he walked into his bedroom.

Mrs Amnda who had just slipped under her covers rolled her eyes and said, "What is it now Ifeanyi? What do you know?"

"I told you! I told all of you that that boy was a scum! A fraud!" He shouted, "But no one would believe me, not even you," he hissed, "Now see Amanda, just look at what's he's doing."

"Ifeanyi would you stop poking your big nose into this couples life for once? Yeah, you have photos of him supposedly cheating and you've proved us all wrong, we have heard so, can you move on?" She rolled her eyes.

"Move on?" He chuckled, "absolutely not."

He threw the file her way, she caught it and opened them. He folded his hands and stood back with a smile on his face awaiting her reaction and he was well-pleased when she gave him the exact expression he was anticipating.

"This can't be?" She said re-reading the file again.

"E shock you?" He laughed.

"This can't—"

"I told you!" He said and snatched the file from her hand, "I told you and everyone in this house that that boy was nothing but a fruadster but you all wouldn't listen. I told you that he was up to no go  but you all said I was against their love story,  now do you see what has happened?"

"Are you sure a—"

"For God sake Amanda!" He snapped, "Will you just stop? What now, you want to hear a prophesy before you believe this? In fact, I'm done with this conversation!" He turned and started out of the room.

She jumped out of her bed and blocked his way standing before him with her arms spread.

"So where exactly are you going with that?" She quizzed.

"Where else? To show Jessica that what she thought was love was all a farce," he said, "now will you excuse me?"

She didn't move.

"Amanda get out of my way!"

She whimpered, "you're gonna kill her Ifeanyi, please stop."

"Do you hear yourself? Come who's side are you on anyway? Your child or that damn fraud?" He yelled.

"I don't know—"

"Amanda get out of my way!" He shouted even louder.

"Mom?"

Their heads turned and found  Jessica's head at the doorway, she didn't look pale anymore, a little sad but a lot better than when she first arrived. She had finally stopped crying and started taking care if herself for the sake of her baby.

"What's going on?" She asked as she walked into the room, "I could hear your voices from the kitchen. Is there a problem?"

The couple looked at each other and Amanda pleaded with him through her eyes but he just shoved right past her and handed the file to Jessica.

Jessica's heart sunk when the file got to hand, she really couldn't handle more bad news.

"Dad..."

"No!" He added sternly, "there's no need for negotiations, you're going to read that file and that's final."

She took a deep breathe and did as instructed.
