Russia jolted awake as he heard Ame screaming in agony. He quickly scooped up the country, holding him bridal style and rushed to the bathroom. He lay Ame down and watched at he hunched over the toilet. The black goop dripped from his eyes as he puked. It was a horrid sight but it was something they had all gotten used to. It took another moment or two for Canada to show up and comfort his brother.
The first time Belarus had seen it she was terrified, she thought that Ame was going to die. Aussie and Kiwi has to assure her that Ame was fine and that it happened every night. Even after being assured that he was okay she was still always asking him if he was fine for the rest of the day. Even if he appreciated her concern it was a little annoying that every 30 minutes she would ask.
Finally the vomiting ceased and Ame just sat there, staring off into space. There was still some of the black goop dripping from the edges of his mouth and from his eyes. He reached his hand out, Russia took a few steps forward and kneeled in front of him. Ame smiled and wiped away the last of the goop before wrapping his arms around Russia's neck. Russia smiled and picked Ame up, he carried the country downstairs and set him on the couch. Rus sat next to Ame, Tabby jumping onto the couch and curling up into Ame's lap.
Russia felt terrible, he knew what was going to come today, and he didn't want it. He just wished he could have Ame in his arms forever. Today was the last day of school. Normally he'd be bouncing off the walls, exited that he no longer needed to worry about bad grades or school bully's like NK and China. But this was his last day with Ame before he left to go live with Kazakhstan and Mongolia. Russia cringed at the thought of having to share a house with Mongolia. That wasn't going to be fun.
"Russia." Ame said, his voice was groggy and hoarse.
"Hm?" Russia shook himself out if his thoughts and directed his attention to Ame.
"Please don't go." Ame mumbled, burying his face into Rus' neck. Russia sighed.
"I'm sorry Ame, I have to. I promise I'll come and visit as often as I can, and I'll text you every night." Russia said, kissing Ame on the forehead.
"Promise?"
"I promise."

The day was boring, or at least Russia thought so. They didn't do much in their classes. Then again it's not like they had much to do. They returned any books that they had borrowed, sold books they didn't need anymore back to the school, and cleaned out lockers. For Russia he didn't really have much to clean, all he had to do was get a Clorox wipe and wipe down the inside of his locker. There were a few other students that seemed like kept a whole other dimension in their lockers, jeez it seemed like they never stopped pulling things out.
Finally the bell rang and everyone grabbed their things and ran off, happy to finally be free for the next 3 months. Ame walked over to Russia.
"Hey, you ready to go get some ice cream?" Ame asked, a big smile on his face. Rus smiled too.
"Hell yeah," he said, taking Ame's hand. The two joined the rest of the gang and walked to the ice cream parlor that was a few blocks away from their Highschool. When they got there they saw a few other countries that went to their Highschool too. There were a few 'hi's and 'hello's but other than that they just went about their own business. They all ordered, Germany and Poland both getting vanilla with hot fudge on top, Japan getting cookies and cream, SK getting mango, and Ame and Russia both getting chocolate.
They all talked about what they wanted to do over the summer. Germany said he wanted to take a trip with his family. Poland had found a book series that he really liked and he wanted to finish the series. Japan wanted to find new people that she could ship together. SK wanted to try and bond with his brother at least a little. Ame didn't really know what he wanted to do yet.
