Months had passed, it was now May. Everyone had been in quarantine for about 2 months now and it felt like everyone would be inside forever.

The girl hated being inside. She just wanted to go outside and read a book under a tree when it got nice out, or try to convince Finn to fly out to where she lives just so she could chill with him. When it was rainy, all she wanted to do was sit outside in the rain in cry, but she wouldn't let quarantine get to her.

During quarantine, Y/N definitely kept in touch with Natalia and Finn. At the beginning they would talk almost everyday! However, as time went on, they ran out of stuff to talk about so they didn't end up talking as much. The three would still text every once in a while but they would never FaceTime.

Finn stayed home as he should've been doing. He learned new songs on the guitar or the keyboard, or he would practice his acting or memorize the script for Stranger Things 4. Natalia also stayed in. She would hang out with Charlie everyday since they lived together and they would go over scenes for season 4 as well. As for Y/N, she redecorated her room out of boredom or read until she was too tired to keep her eyes open. If she was being honest, she missed being able to go out and hang out at local diners or going to the mall but she had to stay home so this could all be over sooner.

School was hard to keep up with, to say the least. Y/N never wanted to join her zoom calls and see her musty ass class everyday, she just wanted to read or watch movies. She had thought that by the time this was over, she would have watched every movie ever made!

The girl was laying in bed, listening to a vinyl record and staring at her ceiling, doing nothing when she had the idea to call Finn and Natalia.

She knows they haven't called in a while but she misses seeing their faces and being able to talk to someone other than her parents.

She pulled out her Macbook and group FaceTimed her only two friends. Surprisingly, they both picked up! The raven haired boy was the first to pick up, he picked up almost instantly. The blonde picked up last but, without a doubt, had a smile on her face.

"Holy shit Y/N! You look like shit! What happened to you?!" Finn yelled as soon as he saw that the girl who had called him had not brushed her hair or gotten ready yet that day. She looked greasy and felt gross but was too lazy to get up and shower.

Y/N hadn't been offended by his comment. They were close enough that that was how they joked.

"Hey, why don't you shut the fuck up and put on a shirt that you haven't had for 3 years." The girl said, referring to the shirt that she had seen him wearing that Josh had given him a while back.

Finn was about to say something when Natalia joined with Charlie next to her.

"Hey guys, what's up?" Natalia said as soon as she joined. Charlie just simply waved at the two he saw on the screen.

"Hey Natty, hey Charlie! Nothin much. Finn and I were just arguing because he thinks I look terrible but he can't even wear a shirt that he hadn't had since he was in 9th grade." Y/N said, trying to get Natalia and Charlie on her side.

"Oh please. At least I brushed my hair today" Finn said, rolling his eyes.

The rest of the night, Finn and Y/N playfully argued while Natalia and Charlie sat back and chuckled quietly at the two.

They eventually laid off each other and just chilled with the company of everyone. They FaceTimed for so long that everyone ended up falling asleep on the call.

That was probably the happiest they all felt in a while.
