I am in the airborne division which is being commanded by Gen Dalyn White. Under his command are the 40,000,000 soldiers including 875 brigadiers, 2400 colonels, 5800 majors, 12300 captains and 23000 lieutenant. I am under direct command of Brg Robert Maeyer. Our orders are to capture the capital city of Uldberg. It's an important strategic point as it connects directly to 4 metro cities. It was going to be heavily defended. Therefore 8 companies were to attack at the city from all the side in a form of pincer attack

We are going to be par dropped on the southern side of the city, from there we have to have rendezvous at the city square and reunite with the other

"All right men, the time has come when we make the enemy taste a piece of our strength, courage and intelligence. When the pilots gives the signal you know what to do. Stick to the training you have done for months. Today is the day when your hard work will pay. Stick to the drop zone. If you falter and couldn't stick to your drop zone, don't panic and stick to the planned route, eventually you will link up with your or some other company. If you link with the other company stick to their plan. So good luck soldiers and let's do our best. May the god be on our side".

The speech I gave must have pumped up my company. After a few minutes the pilot gave the signal. The cargo bay door opened and one by one we jumped off the plane. Being the commander I was the first to jump. Few minutes after the jump I opened my parachute. I took a glimpse above me, white parachutes had covered the night sky. For the enemies we must have been DEVILS descending from the sky, but for humanity we were ANGELS descending from heaven to unleash the wrath upon the invaders.

The thing that disturbed me the most was there was no fire from the enemy. We faced no resistance during the drop. On landing I contacted the other company commanders and they too without facing any resistance had all landed safely along with their company.

"Why am I getting nervous? We are lucky we didn't come under fire and sustained casualties. We must stick to the plan. Yes, sticking to the plan is the best solution in this situation".

"Alright men let's get moving. We got a place to reach. If we don't make it on time we won't be able to close the gap and trap the enemy" I commanded the troops.
"YES SIR!!" Every one responded together.
They all are very much motivated

We have been moving for a long time without facing any resistance, the city must be 1 km ahead of us. We continued in hope of meeting the resistance there.
When we stepped in the city there was total silence. Not a single movement could be observed. We continued on our route to the city square. There was not a single trace of enemy digging any defense. It was a ghost city. On reaching the square we saw that all the other company had also reached the city square.

Brg Maeyer was giving further orders to all the company commanders. Troops were digging defenses to hold the city until the main force arrives. Brg Maeyer too ordered me to dig defenses on the southern side of the city. I could see the same expression on his face which I had an hour ago. Even he was concerned that why didn't we face any resistance from the enemy. But because of lack of intelligence he had to take decisions on his own and ordered us to hold the city.
