Awakening!!

huh, what is this feeling, it seems like I have gained my senses after a very long time, my body, It wont move!, I cant open my eyes! I think it will take some time for me to use them again.

"Wow have you seen something like this"

" His body is too cold, but the heart is beating, his body temperature seems to be optimising"

" doesn't he looks a bit different than us, I mean he doesn't have any horns, fur or scale"

" Yeah you are right he is neither too tall to be an elf nor too short to be a dwarf too"

" I suppose he must belong to that specie SAPIEN"

Huh, who are they , what are they talking about horn, fur or elf, I don't get it, dammit if only I could open my eyes and move my body I could get a better picture of the situation.

"Its a big discovery, lets take him to a hospital first, we must make sure his vital come back to normal"

"Idiot we shouldn't take him to a hospital, he is valuable as he is one of his kind, If the word goes out that we have something like that in possession the people will surely try to steal it away from us"

" then lets take it to our basement, I have an idea about what we should do with such a precious artifact"

What are they planning to do with me, and what is he talking about me being an artifact, I mean aren't they too the same as me. But whatever I cannot do a single thing in the condition I am in. I must go with the flow for now.

AFTER FEW HOURS

"Lets place him on this bed"

"The doctor has arrived"

"Doctor you are in charge of this being , take care of him and dare not share this information with anyone, we will reward you accordingly to keep your mouth sealed"

"Ok I am fine with it until I get my share, but what are you going to do with him, its not like you could keep it here forever, the word will eventually go out"

"Yeah I know, I have it all planned up so you need not care"

Ahh! I could feel something sharp being inserted in my hand, I suppose he is injecting me with something, good at least now I can feel, my body must be rehabilitating. I will try opening my eyes. Perfect I can open it, everything seems blurry, I guess it will take some time for my brain to process thing.

Slowly everything in front of my eyes became clear.

"AHHH! what are you? who are you? get away from me" I started to panic as it was for the first time I had seen something just like this.

" calm down sapien I am not going to hurt you" The Lizard headed being in front of me said.

"You belong to the Demi-Human race! how come you are on the supercontinent? Don't tell me you smuggled me to your island......" I barraged the lizard headed being in front of me with question until he said

"This is no longer your planet, your specie became extinct long ago" he said keeping his hands or forelimbs on my head, as if he was calming a restless child.

I was dumbfounded after listening to his answer. I asked " what do you mean by our specie being extinct long ago, What year is it?"

I remember the last time I was awake the humanity was standing against an alien race. Being the only specie capable of fighting against the superior alien race, it was our responsibility to defend the planet. The year the fight was at its climax was around 2134 AD.

"its 2245 AD" The lizard headed being said

There was nothing I could say to respond to his answer. All I could do was look into his eyes and hope that this all was a mere dream.

"Hey what are you thinking"? the being in front of me said.

There was total silence, I could not process the situation at the moment. Being awake after a 100 year of sleep had put my mind my into total confusion.

"You should rest for a while, you need to take care of your delicate body after all you are a very precious discovery"

"What do you mean by PRECIOUS discovery"? I asked him

"Ahh sorry, I forgot that you just got up from your sleep, well Its going to be hard for you to comprehend the reality but.."

The lizard paused for a moment, then after sighing he said "You are the LAST SAPIEN ALIVE".
