It has been one hour since I boarded this carriage and we have travelled a long way since then. Taking the speed into note we must be around twenty three kilometres away from the city. Through my window all I can see is farmlands with demi humans working in the field. The scenery pleases the soul. God knows how much time has passed since I got to see a view like this. But still I feel a little comfortable.
I had been silent for the whole time in the carriage, but because I was so desperate to get off the carriage I couldn't control my urge to question and asked the person accompanying me.
"Excuse me! How much more do we have to travel? We have been travelling a lot, if you could stop the carriage for a moment I would appreciate. I will be able to straighten out my legs, you see I feel a little uncomfortable."
"Worry not, we are close to our destination. There, do you see it, there a villa there? That's our destination. It will take five minutes to reach there so you can relax when we reach their. Moreover the General has been waiting you. You should not make him any wait longer for you" The dog faced being answered me calmly.
He directed my gaze towards a villa. It was a beautiful building standing in the middle of the farmland. The view from there could have been compared to heaven. Only a person of tall standing in the society could own such a villa. According to the being the house owner is a military officer.
"So they still have army in this era. I think fighting is an inevitable situation is any era. So I will be a part of this villa from now on. Wonder how the owner must be. If he is an officer he ought to be gentleman. If that's the situation I must be in safe hands, but still I can't predict what the future has in the bag for me" I thought to myself.
As the being accompanying me said, we made to the villa in less than five minutes. He got out first and opened the door of the carriage for me. Being a servant I was being given respect as if I was someone important. Of course I am important I mean I am the last of my kind. The first thing I did when I got off the carriage was to stretch my legs and then I corrected the veil which I was given to cover my body as I was naked since I had woken up. The security guards approached me and directed me inside the villa.
It was a huge villa with a fountain on the entrance and huge gardens flanking the road on both sides. Military personal were stationed in the villa for security purpose. I continued my walk inside. The villa had beautiful decoration and interior design. The sculpture on the walls were handmade. As I continued I could see a large figure standing and waiting at a distance for me. We closed our distance and the beings accompanying me pushed me in front of him.
"Sir we have brought the property you bought at the auction" The people accompanying me said to the being standing in front of me.
The being in front of me was a lizard headed person, very tall compared to me and a heavily built individual. He wore an army officers uniform, the star on his uniform showed that he was among the top tiers in the army.
