DARK TERRITORY: THE BATTLE

Chapter 20

Third Person POV

Agatha Abedra together with her son Danill saw a ruckus when the elevator open. A boy was fighting over a strange guy with a unconscious girl on his arms. It seems normal in her eyes if they are family but the young boy was very persistent which make it odd. Another thing, no one except the  owners can used the Aver wing.

"Let her go. Put her down." The boy shouted while pulling the man's pants. But the man remain stoic and continue to ignore him, walking very fast.

This part of the hotel is secluded so no one could barely see what is happening. Nasa dulong pasilyo sa kaliwang bahagi ng hotel ang Aver kaya walang masyadong nagpupunta dito kundi ang mga nagmamay-ari lamang. Sa wing na ito matatagpuan ang office ng C.E.O, mga presidential suite na nakalaan para sa Forteza at Abedra at ang royalty secret pass. Kaya laking pagtataka ng mag-ina kung bakit may ibang taong napadpad doon bukod sa kanila. Lalo na ngayong may event ang hotel kaya walang mga napapagawing employee ngayon dito. 

Nakatalikod sa kanila ang bata at lalaki kaya hindi nila alam na may tao. She looked at her son and give him a heads up. While Danill do his task, Agatha walk to the scene unannounced and approach the child.

"How may I hep you young man?" Agatha remarked that makes the unknown guy flustered. the boy look at her way. She saw hope on the young's eyes.

"Help me ma'am!" Nagmamakaawang sabi ng bata. "This guy is trying to take the lady away. He poisoned her."  The boy pointed. "He put a handkerchief on her mouth and my girl---I mean the lady suddenly become dead." The boy explained bravely looking at her back to the abductor.

The unknown guy make his chance to skip by pushing the child. The man run away that made the boy bravely stand not yet recovered from the damage done to him by the accuser. Agatha runs toward the boy not minding her outfit and high heels to stop him from running after the suspect. 

She squatted in front of the boy, "Go call for someone help. I will take care of him." She retorted while smiling to the child to assure him that everything will be fine and she will get the lady safe and sound.

The boy nodded confidently leaving his trust to the woman. On the other hand, a smirk was flushed on Agatha's face because she knows that the man could not skip that easily. Unless, he studied first the blueprint of the Aver before conducting his plan. The Aver is a dead end. No passages because it is hidden.  A command or a code must be done first before a door could open. It was design by Tymerie, her best friend and sister-in-law, and build by Rocque, Tymerie's husband. The purpose of the Aver live its purpose, to block and protect, that's why it was design like that. 

Someone POV

The mission of getting the Gamma out of the picture in Forteza year end party has been a half way success if a child didn't intrude in their assignment. 

"Just kick the child, D!" Natatawang utos sa kanya ni Q, the eye-keeper. 

"Dammit Q. You know I can't do that. I may be heartless when it comes to my enemy but never did I hurt a child. And I will never be." Dugtong ko pa.

Kanina pa ako sinusundan ng bata akala ko noong una ay batang pasaway lang. Pero iba pala ang pagkapasaway nito, kulang na lang ay lumambitin siya sa aking kaliwang paa mapigilan lang ako sa aking gagawin. Kanina pa din siya hila ng hila sa pants ko. Kung wala siguro akong belt ay boxer shorts na lang ang matitirang suot ko pambaba. 

"Hey, Kid! Will you please go to your mother and pester her. Just don't---just go away!"

"Put down my girlfriend first!" I was taken aback on what the boy have blurt out. I glance at the Gamma and back to the boy looking at him with disbelief but the boy stared at me bravely. He block my way to the elevator so I don't have any choice but to turn and step in the other wing. 

"Gosh, the Gamma is really poisonous. Akalain mo iyon pati bata nabibihag niya. Ano na lang laban mo sa isang bata D? Maawain pa naman ang Gamma pagdating sa mga bata. May nadagdag na naman sa mga karibal mo. Buti na lang hindi pa ako dumadagdag." He even laughed hard and playfully while pestering me. I am about to protest sa mga kabaliwang pinagsasabi niya when someone behind us discovered our secret. 

"How may I help you young man?" A woman asked. I can hear danger in her gentle voice. I stop. I immediately look at Gamma when I notice that she slowly open her eyes. She is already awake. Actually, she is sane and wake since I put a handkerchief on her nose. Because I didn't sprayed chloroform in the handkerchief in the first place. 

"Push the child D. You entered in the dead end. Save yourself first." She gritted her teeth. I look at her eyes surprisingly because she is giving me a command that will be against my will to follow her.

I never hurt a child. And I will never be.

Naalala ko ang sinabi ko kanina kay Q. Lalabag ata ako sa rules na nilatag ko. 

The command of the Gamma flustered me. She knows I cannot performed her given command kaya muli siyang nagsalita ng mahina nang mapansin niyang hindi pa rin ako kumikilos. 

"Do it. Run for yourself because the enemy will never stop chasing you. Forget your part and we will proceed at plan B. Leave the mission to us."

Using my little strength, I push the child using my left foot. I will surely regret what I have done but the situation makes me hurt him. 

I hope I didn't hurt him badly. Forgive me! 

After committing the job the Gamma told me, I grab the opportunity to run.

"Put me down." The Gamma said when we notice that no one is coming after us. But that makes me thrilled more and put my guard guarded. The Gamma and I comprehended that they will never unleash us easily. I put the Gamma at the corner gently. 

"Take care of yourself, D. Don't worry about me. Q and I studied the blueprint of the hotel and this place where unknown. You cannot escape easily. Tell Q to crack the system and get the code. There must be a window or a door somewhere hiding in our naked eyes." Her eyes has been roaming around the place while eyeing every wall. Trying to figure out how I will make a escape in this non ended walls. 

"I will my queen. I will take care of myself so I can see you again soon." I seriously utter looking at her eyes expecting for a different expression but her eyes remain expressionless. Gamma Z or just Z, she never wanted to be called with her title, has always been emotionless. She possesses different identity that you can never tell who she really is. 

"Go, D. Someone is coming." She close her eyes again. Pretending. So, I took the chance to kiss her on her head. I know Z is cursing me or even want to punch me but she cannot do that or else we will be failed.
