I whipped out my direct EMP gun and aimed it at Mj's camera, frying the battery.

"Thank god" I sighed as I ran out of my apartment, EMP rifle in hand and EMP grenades on my waist.

I ran out of the building, now on the street, firing at the drones that Gwen threw away from her. I didn't enter the construction site yet though since I was trying to avoid dying today, even if it started off with me running away from drones in the first place.

Harry was already down the street, running as far away as possible, but he didn't even try to get Mj who now has a polaroid camera in her hands.

"How many cameras does she have?!" I asked myself as I purposefully bumped into her, knocking the polaroid to the ground.

"Sorry Mj! But you have to get out of here!" I yelled at her as the sound of steel smashing and power tools roared ahead of us.

She nodded arogently and ran off the same way Harry went. I know it's a stupid idea but I have to make sure Gwen is okay, so here I am, jumping into the water system below the construction site and setting up a small EMP bomb.

The sound of cracking concrete overhead got my attention, small bits of rubble fell around me, it was time to go.

I sprinted down the water stream with the rubble barely missing me, the sound of my EMP going off.

Taking a quick glance behind me, I see that the EMP slowed down the Spider Drone but didn't stop it, I couldn't see Gwen anywhere.

"Gwen! GWEN!?" I yelled as the drone crawled out of the wreck, I grabbed a broken pole from the rubble and plunged it into the drone, destroying it.

"Y/n?" I hear a female voice say with heavy fatigue.

"GWEN!" I yelled as I dug through the rubble, adrenaline making my strength tenfold.

Then I saw her, her mask torn apart with her hair flowing everywhere, blood dripping from her lips.

I pulled her out of the rubble and dragged her back to the apartment, which was surprisingly stable after being right next door to a spider fight.

Gwen wasn't actually too heavy, pretty easy to princess carry, but I obviously took her mask off before getting her into the public. I opened my apartment door to see the big hole in the wall that Gwen and the drone created when they left.

I placed Gwen on the couch and threw her mask under the coffee table, removing her web shooters to see that the area around them were a little red.

"Fought hard huh?" I asked her, I knew she was out cold but just in case she was faking.

After taking her gear off and hiding it, I grabbed a couple of spare bed sheets and wood planks from the construction site and made a makeshift wall where my window used to be, I still like my privacy.

"Y-Y/n" Gwen spoke, making me jump over to her.

"What's up Gwen?" I asked, placing a pillow under her head.

"No hospital. Super... Healing" Gwen groaned as she tried to move.

I looked at her cuts and bruises, yeah they looked better but they were still there.

"I'll be right back" I promised, rushing to the kitchen to grab my first aid kit.

Gwen looked at me as I opened the kit in front of her, wrapping up her arm in bandages and treating her wounds, then I noticed something under her jacket.

I slowly lifted it to see that there was a giant stab wound on her gut, the jacket seemed to hide the blood.

"Oh my god Gwen, this NEEDS hospital attention!" I told her, lifting her shirt a little to see the bare wound.

Gwen had already fainted.

"Fuckkk" I cursed, examining the wound to see if anything was in there that shouldn't be.

I didn't know what to do, oh god... God? ... GOOGLE!

I googled how to look after a wound this big, at first it just told me to call the hospital but then it showed me many different ways to care for it.

"After removing the bandage, wash the area with soap and water. Use a wet cotton swab to loosen and remove any blood or crust that forms. After cleaning, apply a thin layer of antibiotic ointment. This will keep the wound clean and make it easier to remove any stitches, if they were used" I read aloud, grabbing all the things needed.

The wound was getting smaller as I worked on it, I finally finished off and bandaged her stomach.

"Well now I need a new couch" I sighed as I saw how much blood stained my favourite place in the apartment.

I picked Gwen up, moving her to my bed, which now had towels under the sheets to stop my mattress from also being ruined.

She seemed to snuggle well into the bed, even with the major stab on her.

Her face seems so cute when she sleeps, but I couldn't just sit here and watch her all night.

I grabbed a jug of cold water from the fridge and put it next to her on the bedside table, I went to take a look at my bank account on my laptop, that thankfully survived the break in.

"God damn it Harry" I said aloud as I saw that Harry transferred 10 grand with the description 'Wall repair and a present'.

Well the money wasn't going to be wasted, I decided to walk down to a nearby 24/7 store and grab some stuff for breakfast in the morning, as well as some more clothes for Gwen since the ones I bought her before are now bloody and stained.

"Wait... what's her cup size?" I asked myself as I realized that she probably didn't have any clean pairs now.

I tried guessing but in the end bought one of each size she seemed to be, obviously the cashier wasn't gonna ask why a guy was buying multiple different bras near midnight in New York.

I got home and looked at the mess that happened today, it started with me simply getting up and going to work and now I'm looking after an injured spider girl from another dimension.

After placing Gwen's new clothes by the bed and moving the couch out to the garbage behind the apartment, I cleaned up the blood on the wooden floor and rolled out the sleeping bag for the night, lets hope tomorrow will be more peaceful.
