I'm in a good mood, since I finally got all the Raven Cycle books at home and can re-read them again. Man, I love my Raven boys. So here, because I'm feeling so delighted, have a sweet little chapter.

"Well, this is awkward." I heard Shisui say as he was laying next to me. "Who would have guessed that we'd do this without trying to kill each other?"
"It wouldn't be as awkward if your arm wasn't wrapped around me," I said. "I'm not your plushie."
"But I don't get to cuddle actual human beings very often," I felt his body moving closer to me. "And you won't let me cuddle Itachi. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do."
Itachi, that was trying to sleep until now, spoke, his voice sounding tired, "Shisui, are you really cuddling Sasuke?" I couldn't see his face, but I knew that his eyebrows were raised.
"Yes. He's warm."
"And Sasuke, you're not trying to push him off a balcony for doing this?"
"Well, to be fair, you don't have a balcony. I do feel like I'm wrapped under an electric blanket, so I'll let it slide this time."
Itachi tried to look over his shoulder at us, but the position he was in didn't allow him to see much, "What did you two talk about earlier?" He asked. Neither of us wanted to tell him what happened and why all of a sudden we weren't going after each other's throats. He was surprised, but pleasantly.
"It's getting late, we really should go to sleep." Just after I finished saying that, something big jumped on the end of the bed and then crawled around. "Naruto, is that you?" The question was pointless, it couldn't have been anyone but him.
"Yeah, I was scared in there alone." The bed was full enough with the three of us, but with Naruto, we had no choice but to be squeezed on each other, with Shisui and me in the middle. "And it sounded like it was going to be more fun in here anyways."
"You were right, it does feel like an electric blanket," Shisui said right before he kicked his legs from underneath the covers. "Your feet's so cold, Naruto, don't touch me with those icicles!"
There was a moment of silence before we all laughed. It was a strange feeling, knowing that it's been only around four hours since I laid here alone, but now we were all in the same bed, close to each other laughing as if nothing ever happened.

Falling asleep wasn't too hard, but waking up in the middle of the night thirsty was. I tried to get out of the hug Shisui kept me in as quietly and gently as I could, while also trying to not wake him or Itachi up. The floor was cold against the soles of my feet as I walked into the kitchen. When I glanced on the clock on the wall, I saw that it was only four in the morning. I wasn't feeling tired anymore, so I decided to make myself a cup of tea instead of just drinking some water. I switched on the kettle and grabbed my favourite mug from the cupboard. The sound of the boiling water seemed loud at this hour, almost like a car engine, but once I was holding the cup of tea in my hands as I stood in front of the window, I felt the warmth spreading slowly through my fingers, happy that I went for it instead of the cold water. I still wasn't a big fan of tea, but if I was planning on going back to the bed again, it was better than to have coffee. It was still dark outside, the wind bending some of the weaker tree branches. I was deeply lost in my mind, thinking about everything and nothing at all, and for the first time in a while I felt good about where I was in my life. Of course I didn't magically like Shisui all of a sudden, but we understood each other's feelings a little more. Itachi was just simply glad that we got along, somehow and Naruto was excited when he found out that he could eat one pizza all by himself. It was strange, but not in a bad way.
