Truth or Dare [ItaSasu] AU

Tuesday (2)

AN/ I don't want to spoil you all with another chapter a day after uploading the previous one, but I was sort of in the mood of writing and I just love the two so much I couldn't help myself. Don't get used to it though, because it's more likely that I'll disappear for a while again. Enough of me talking, here's Tuesday number two.

"I was so worried about you," Naruto said when I came back to the campus at five in the morning. He was sitting on his bed with a laptop on his legs. He had bags under his eyes that were screaming at me that he didn't close his eyes at all during the night. "Why didn't you call me back?"
"My phone ran out of battery and I honestly didn't think it was that big of a deal."
"Well it was, he could have killed you or something."
"What gave you the impression that he's a murdered?" I raised my eyebrows at him.
"You never know." He closed the laptop and put it aside on his bedside table. "Next time let me know."
"Don't you think I'm old enough to be able to stay the night somewhere else without having to check in to my younger brother?"
"You're older only by a few months, Sasuke. And you will never be old enough for me to start worrying." He crossed his arms on his chest. "Besides, if something happened to you, our parents would kill me for letting it happen."
"I'll admit that you have a point with that. Fine, I'll make sure to send you a bird with a letter next time my phone dies."
"Thanks, it's greatly appreciated. Now, tell me what happened."
"I got it."
"Got what? That booty?" His words were followed by his laugh.
"No. I won the dare."
"No, you didn't."
"I did. I have the picture to prove it too."
"But,.. how did you,.."
"Speechless?" I said with a smirk.
"I mean, I didn't think you'd have a problem getting him to kiss you. It was obvious that he's a bit too fond of you from how much time you two spent together over the last week. But how did you manage to get a picture of it without him knowing?"
"Oh no, you got it all wrong." I said. "He was very much aware of me taking the picture."
"He was?" Naruto was visibly confused. "Did you tell him about the dare?"
"Of course not. I just told him that I want the photo for my own personal use. It did take a little bit of convincing, but in the end I managed." I pulled out my phone and showed him the picture. Itachi was sitting behind me, his arms around my waist. My head was turned over my shoulder and he was leaning towards me, kissing me gently.
"Oh my god," he gasped. "You have to show everyone."
"No, I'm not doing that."
"What? Why not? You've won."
"Because I am pretty sure that the word would get out. I would get suspended and Itachi would get fired, or arrested, I don't know."
"I don't think he'd get arrested since you're legally an adult. He'd just get fired."
"I don't want that to happen."
"So,.. you really like him?"
"Unexpectedly, yes. A little."
"What do you want to do then?"
"I will give up on the dare."
"But you did win."
"But I'm also not going to show the photo to anyone else but you. I don't care anyways. We all gotta lose sometimes, right?"
"True. So, are you two dating now?"
"No. Or at least neither of us said that we're a thing."
"Maybe he wants to wait for you to finish college? I mean, it is only this year after all."
"Yeah, maybe."

"This is so unlike you, Sasuke." Sakura said when our group got together during lunch.
"I have to agree." Temari said. "I didn't think the day would ever come."
"I'm happy he gave up on it," Ino added. "I mean, I'll kiss you and take a photo of it any day, Sasuke."
"I'll pass, but thanks for the offer." I said. "I think this dare was a bit too much. He is completely uninterested. Maybe if he was a woman I'd have a chance. But there's no need to pursue this any further."
"You're unusually quiet, Naruto." Temari spoke again.
"I still can't process this. I'd never give up." Naruto answered. He didn't like lying, but went along with what I wanted for my sake.
"This is a dumb game anyway." Sakura said quickly. "The break will be over soon, we should get going."
