A/N: So I've been away for some time again. It's the new year now, so late Merry Xmas and Happy New Year, I suppose? Here's to more chapters you'll like, hopefully.

"So, you've been staying with the teacher again?" Naruto looked at me with a piercing gaze, trying to figure out what's going on without me telling him. He knew that something was actually happening, he just wasn't sure what it was yet. But it still wasn't the right time to say anything to him. "You know you can tell me, Sasuke."

"Yeah, no. I know. It's not that. There just isn't much happening to be honest. It's going awfully slowly and I wish I could be done and over with it already." I sat down on my bed, right across him. "He is so incredibly boring, you know? All he talks about is books and movies based off books." I rolled my eyes. Of course it wasn't true at all, but he didn't need to know that.

"I couldn't imagine, I'd give up already." He joked.

"Hm? You would?"

"Yeah. There's no adventure in that. I don't like boring people. I mean, it's not like some of my friends aren't a little boring, but I still like em. It's just,.. I don't know. They're not book boring, I guess."

"Still doesn't sound like you though, neither of us ever wants to give up on anything. You're usually just more vocal about it."

"Well, yeah. One of us has to be." He assured me and before he spoke again, he yawned slowly. "So what's the plan for today? Are you gonna see him again?"

"No. He just dropped me like twenty minutes by walk away from the campus and drove off. Not sure what he has planned today."

"You know what? I have an idea."

"And what would that be?"

"What if you texted him, like, ask him what he's doing or where is he and then we can go there and see if he's telling you the truth."

"There is a lot wrong with that, Naruto."

"Like what? It's not like it's gonna hurt him."

"I don't know, maybe that it is just weird, or that maybe, just maybe, he'll be at home and there's no way for us to know if that is true or not without breaking into his apartment."

"I don't see the problem here. Go on, text him. Just to see what he's gonna say."

"He dropped me off like half an hour ago, he's most likely still driving if he went home. And there's not much to do on a Sunday early in the morning anyways."

"What are you so afraid of, Sasuke?" He said teasingly. He got up from his bed and walked across our small bedroom to mine, sitting next to me. "Are you scared that he's not gonna reply?"

"Fine," I sighed and took out my phone. Naruto was eagerly watching me putting my password in and opening the message app. He wasn't surprised that we already had each others numbers, but he was surprised when he saw the name I had him under. "Don't even think about it." I warned him.

"Quackers? Seriously?" he looked at me judgingly.

"Yeah, why not."

"Because it's weird? What is it even supposed to mean?"

"Well, he is kinda cute, but also a little weird. I thought it fit."

"You find him,.. cute?"

"I'm not gonna lie to you."

"You've done and said some pretty questionable stuff, but this,.. nothing is gonna top this."

"I guess you're right." I shrugged it off knowing that I already topped it of one too many times when it came to Itachi. "What should I text him?"

"Just say something like hi, what are you up to?" He suggested. I wrote exactly that and sent it. It took a while for Itachi to see the message and then took a bit longer to reply.

'Sorry, I was still driving. Not much, I just got back. Why?'

'Just bored.' I texted back what Naruto wanted me to say. 'What are you gonna do?'

'I told you already, didn't I? I'm going to meet up with an old friend of mine for lunch.'

'Oh, I forgot I guess. Where are you gonna go? Are you gonna cook at home?'

'No, we will go to the restaurant that is across the street from my apartment. Then we might go back to my place to talk, depending on how things will go.'

'What do you mean, depending on how it's gonna go?'

'We haven't seen each other in over five years, so we might not have anything to talk about after the lunch.'

'That makes sense.'

'Why are you asking? Did you want to join us?'

'No, no. Definitely no. Like I said, I'm just bored.'

'Alright.'

'What time will you go?'

'We're supposed to meet up at twelve.'

'Okay, have fun then. I'll see you tomorrow?'

'You sure will.'
