AN// So I was done with this chapter and went to copy it from the app I use for writing, but instead of "copy" I clicked on "cut" and had a mental breakdown for like five minuets before I realised that I can in fact fix the mistake and got the whole file back.
AN0.02// I decided that this story will mostly be just the characters talking, because it just fits better imo. But sometimes there will be some more in depth descriptions and all that as well. Ok, enough of me talking, enjoy this part ^^>

"I told you, I'm not doing this."
"But why not? Trust me, it will be fun!"
"Your idea of fun is definitely not my idea of fun, Naruto. Whenever you plan something for me, it always ends up being a mess that I have to clean up."
"Fine then, do as you think, but don't be so hard on yourself once you lose the bet. I mean, it's not like I tried to help you or anything." He said with a smirk.
"What are you talking about?"
"Yes, Sasuke. That's right. Be interested in why out of all people, your amazing brother set you up for a blind date." He yelled out with his hands up in the air. "Let it sink into your silly mind!"
"There's no way you got the teacher to go out with me."
"Of course not, I'm sure he wouldn't want to do that for many reasons. But he doesn't even know it's you, it's called a blind date for a reason." He rolled his eyes and got up from his bed. He walked over to the closed window and looked outside with a troubled expression on his face. "I wonder why they say that he's the smarter one,.." he said quietly but loud enough for me to hear. I decided to ignore that and tried to get him to tell me how he managed this, but he wouldn't say a word.

The classes today ended around two o'clock and right after that, I walked to the bus station that was close by to the campus. Naruto chose a coffee shop in the next town over, for whatever reason he didn't discuss with me. The ride lasted for about two and a half hours. For the first time in forever, I felt myself getting a bit nervous. Never before did I get dared to do anything like this. And never before did I lose a bet either. This was borderline insane, but I already agreed to it. When I got off the bus, I struggled a bit trying to find the place, because I've never even been to this town before. The shop looked small and old from the outside, but the inside was warm and cozy and surprisingly bigger than I expected. The table that Naruto reserved was number seven. I saw a head poking out from behind one of the booths. I took a deep breath and confidently walked over there, siting down across the ever so surprised teacher.

"Sasuke?" He raised his eyebrows and put down the book he was reading. "What are you doing here?"
"I'm expecting someone," I said, trying to look as confused as I could. "I reserved this table. Why are you here?"
"You reserved it?" He took his reading glasses off. "Don't tell me-"
"What are the odds of that!"
"In this case I believe it's only appropriate to not continue with this any further."
"Hm?" I leaned over the table closer to him, studying his face. "And why is that? Am I a disappointing date?" I burrowed my eyebrows. "It's because I don't have big boobs, isn't it?"
"What? That is ridiculous. Of course not."
"Oh, so I'm not a disappointing date, but you don't like the fact that I have no boobs?"
"Sasuke," he sighed. "This really is very inappropriate. I am your professor."
"Not now though. We're not even close to the school either."
"Alright, we can have a cup of tea and then you'll head back to the campus. How did you even get here?"
"I took the bus."
"But that's over two hours trip, why would you do that just for a blind date on a weekday?"
"Because I really wanted to go on a nice date, Itachi."
"Don't call me that, Sasuke."
"Why not? You're calling me by my name, so I will use yours. Itachi."
"You know that me using your first name isn't the same thing."
"Why do all teachers get so offended? You have a name for a reason, for people to use it when they are talking to you."

Before Itachi was able to say anything in response, a small girl came rushing to us, her cheeks burning red. She was most likely waiting alone, because I noticed her running around all the tables that were occupied.
"Hello, welcome to Maisie's! My name is Izumi and I will be your waitress today. Are you ready to order?"
"Hi, I'd like lemon tea and botchan dango if you have any?"
"Yes, of course. And you, sir?" She turned her attention to me, waiting for my response holding her pen and notepad to write it down. I cringed when she called me sir, because she looked my age, maybe even younger.
"I'll just have black coffee, no milk, cream or sugar. Thanks."
"Alright, I'll be back with your order as soon as possible." She bowed to us ever so slightly and went away.
"Botchan dango, huh?" I said. "Someone's got a sweet tooth."
"Not a fan, Sasuke?"
"No, I don't like sweet foods at all."
"Oh? Interesting. I suppose it explains the bitter coffee you ordered."
"Are you saying that I'm bitter?" I said jokingly, but judging by his expression, he didn't get it.
"Of course not."
"I was going to say that you might be the only sweet thing I'd give a try to, but you definitely ruined the whole thing, Itachi."
"I told you not to call me that already. And don't say things like this. Even though we're not at school right now, I am still your professor and much older than you are."
"How old are you? Like twenty three?"
"No, I am twenty seven, not that it matters."
"Lucky genes! I'd like to see your parents, they must look young as well?"
"My parents died already. Not so lucky genes, right?"
"Oh damn, sorry. I had n-"
"Just don't say the whole I had no idea thing, please. I've heard that so many times already, it's fine. I didn't get along with my parents, it's alright."
"That's a bit tough, but not my place to talk."
"Oh?" He put his hand over his mouth for a second before speaking again. "Sasuke respecting some boundaries?"
"Well, my mom and dad died when I was super young too, but I got adopted into a loving family, so I wouldn't know how it feels to not get along with the people that raised you."
"Is that why you and your brother look nothing alike?"
"Yeah. I got adopted when I was around five. Spent like years in a really lonely orphanage,.. it was terrible."

"Sorry to disturb you," Izumi said when she came back with the drinks and dango. She put my cup in front of me first and then gave Itachi his tea and a plate with the dessert. "If you'll need anything, just let me know." She added with a smile and then quickly left our booth to go serve other people in the shop. Itachi picked up one of the stick with the three coloured balls on it, biting into the pink one first. I wrapped my hands around the mug, appreciating how warm it was. The smell of the coffee hit my nose and made me feel a bit more comfortable. The whole time we were talking, I still felt a little on edge, but slowly I was getting back to my normal self. When I stopped watching the dark liquid, I looked up at Itachi just in the moment when he was licking his lips, putting down the rest of the food. And as I looked at him, he looked at me. I felt the blood rushing into my ears and cheeks all of a sudden, not really knowing why. Sure, I knew that he was very attractive, but I didn't think of him that way before. But now in the dim lights with his glasses back on, he definitely had something that was drawing me to him like a magnet. He didn't even flinch as he was watching me, making me nervous again. He watched me take a sip of my coffee before his eyes drifted away for a second. He took out his phone and started doing something on it, not paying attention to me at all. I took out my phone as well, to take a picture of him. And just as I hit the button with my thumb, he looked up.

"What are you doing?"
"What does it look like I'm doing?"
"Taking a picture of me?"
"No, I wouldn't do that. I was taking a a picture of my coffee. It looked so pretty."
"Oh? Can I see then?"
"Fine, fine. I was taking a picture of you."
"You just said I look pretty."
"I said my coffee looked pretty."
"But your coffee turned out to be me, so it goes either way, Sasuke."
"Well, you got me. Guilty as charged, please arrest me immediately."
"Don't worry, justice will be served." He winked at me which took me by a surprise. I wasn't expecting him to be okay with me taking a photo of him, or that he will go along with what I was saying. Maybe he was warming up to me?
"See, this date isn't all that bad after all, is it?"
"It's not a date, Sasuke. For obvious reasons."
"No, it is a date for very obvious reasons. We both wanted to go on a date and now we are on one. What do we do after this? Maybe a movie?"
"After this I will drop you back to campus myself."
"Sweet, you're such a gentleman! Making sure I'll get back home safely and all. Am I gonna get a goodnight kiss too?"
"Stop making this something it's not, please."
"Damn, Itachi. You will make me regret I wasn't born a girl."
"Why would you regret that?"
"Because you obviously aren't attracted to me because I'm not a female."
"Sasuke, I-" he stopped talking just to laugh. "I agreed to this blind date because it was supposed to be with a male. Your gender is not the problem here."
"So you do find me attractive. Good to know."
"Even if I did, which I'm not saying that I do, I told you that this isn't going to be a thing. You are my student."
"We obviously have some chemistry between us though. Why don't you just listen to your body for once? I'm sure you feel it too. Otherwise you wouldn't be here even though you finished your dango and tea already." I said, pointing to the empty cup and plate.

It was around nine thirty when we left the coffee shop, just a little while before it was closing. We talked about a lot of stuff, from sharing some memories from our childhoods, to how we both dealt with the death of our parents differently, since he knew his and I didn't know mine. He had me hanging on every word he said. And for the time being, I forgot about the fact that this was only happening for a dare. Because I was actually interested in him as a person. He seemed completely different from the people I was surrounded by. Naruto was always cheerful, doing crazy things and being the one that would be friends with anyone and everyone just so no one would feel like I used to. He promised me when we were little that he will never allow me feel like that again and that he will not let it happen in front of him either. He was living up to it. Truth to be told, I was looking up to him. He never gave up on anything or anyone once he made up his mind. He truly was the son of his parents. Itachi on the other hand was mostly reserved, didn't mention having too many friends but just some very close ones, didn't care about others and seemed just very complex and mysterious. Maybe that's why I felt like we got along so well, because I was the polar opposite to my brother, more closer with my personality to Itachi than with Naruto.

"It's really late now, even with my car it will take around an hour and a half to get back to the campus." He said when we got to his vehicle parked around ten minutes from where we met.
"That's too bad, seems like you'll have to spend some more time with me." I smiled at him and sat down next to the drivers seat after he opened the door for me. "Thank you." I said just before he closed the door as well. He quickly got in as well and we both buckled ourselves in.
"I am going to say something now, and I need you to not turn it into something it's not, okay?"
"Yeah, sure. What is it?" I looked at him and watched him take a deep breath.
