“Im Yoona!” Manager Park barged inside my office without a proper invitation “Why do you act so arrogant?! Didn’t I make it clear not to touch my patient? Then you dared to take my patient without my permission? How could you!!” The manager were fuming in anger when he came to my office. I saw how my department’s doctor tried to stop him from coming inside my office but they failed though.

“Manager Park the kid was saved n-----“

“You shut up, I’m not talking to you.” He harshly muttered to Dr Choi. I clamp my fist trying to calm myself. He then look back at me “Tell me Professor Im, how could you be so disrespectful! She’s my patient not yours! Stop being arrogant! You must follow the rul---“ as he took his hand out of his slacks pocket, golf ball showed up and bounced on the floor. His reaction became horror. I step forward and catch the ball with my hand and took a look at it for second. Then I walked to him giving him the ball then I walked outside. But before I went far, I’ve heard Dr Hwang sarcastically said to him that he must be so busy on his seminar. Then Dr Seo made her comment on how cute the golf ball is.

I smiled to how savage and playful my teammate sometimes. Now, I can breathe normally because I know I made the right choice on doing the surgery even though I didn’t follow the rules but I have no choice the kid’s life was more important to me that time and I already prepared myself for the consequence but there’s no consequence for me because manager was being irresponsible of his work. How could he play golf and lie that he was on the seminar? Seminar his face!

“When a floor nurse leave to tend the operating room don’t you realize that you’re leaving your assigned area? That’s against the rules. And disobeying my orders….”

I stop my tract and watched the Head nurse lecturing Nurse Kang.

“It’s not like I sold over the hospital.” Nurse Kang simply said.

“Are you saying you did well?” Disbelief was written on Head Nurse Bae’s face. But that didn’t stop nurse Kang from defending herself

“I’m not saying I did well but Hyo Joo was saved. Professor Im has great medical knowledge and diagnosis skill and we all know there won’t be a problem. She wouldn’t be the best doctor if she wasn’t great. That’s why I believe she would save the kid. I have fate on her” Awe. Now I suddenly felt shy by the praised I’ve heard from her and to think that she have fated on me that’s a relief because I never think someone would have think of me as that.

“While you were gone, what would’ve happened if there were another emergency?” I knew Nurse Bae, She’s one of my closest hobbae. She always did her best and never made mistake that explain why she became the Head Nurse after seven years of doing her work properly. She just want everything to pass smoothly without any problem that’s why she’s acting this way.

“I’m sorry.” Nurse Kang looked down and pout knowing Nurse Bae was right.

“I want you to submit a letter of apology and there will be a paycut.” Nurse Kang lift her head and stared at Nurse Bae unbelievably.

“I can write 100 letters of apology, but about paycut…. The monthly rent is so high, and you know I consume a lot of food.” She seemingly begging about the paycut, who wouldn’t though? I giggled on how cute the two of them and decided to finally interfere on their conversation

“Irene-ah. The kid’s life matter the most isn’t it? And Nurse Seulgi here……” I patted Nurse Kang’s shoulder “She just want the kid to be saved. Maybe you can cover it up just for now since the surgery went well.” I gave her my puppy eyes. It’s all I can do to save this thoughtful nurse for helping me a while ago.

“But Professor Im she might do it again if-----

“No! No Maam! I won’t do it again. I promise.” I chuckled on how desperate Nurse Kang is, she even raised her hand like she was doing her oath.

“See. She promised already, so let it pass for now, hmm, kay?” I collided both my hand together and puckered my lips like a kid who want something. Both of them are staring at me then Irene sighed. Ha! Nurse Kang is lucky today.

“Ugh! Fine! But this will be the first and last Kang Seulgi.” She glare at Nurse Kang after her remark. I smirked to myself.

“Yes Maam” said the nurse with matching salute.

I chuckled on them then ruffled both of their hair before waving them goodbye.

I would bet my career that those two will be together not now maybe In the future. They seems to like each other.

And I must eat now.  I'm sooooo hungry...
