Chapter 37: Soundcheck

BRADS P.O.V

"Right boys, are you ready?" Joe asked, clapping his hands together.

"Yeashh" James replied before running up onto the stage from the seats we were sat at and grabbed his guitar.

I made my way over to the middle microphone whilst James and Connor put their guitars over their necks and rested them so they were comfortable in place. Tristan then sat at his drums and started us off with the Last Night introduction.

After we ran through Last Night, Joe, Dean, Fin and the girls from Fifth Harmony cheered clapping at the end.

"Now go through WildHeart then straight into Oh Cecilia please boys" Fin instructed.

"Well done boys, last one now please" Joe said before turning to talk to the five girls.

We quickly ran trough Can We Dance, and again, everyone cheered.

"Last thing now since you've all performed" Joe said walking over to us on stage and the girls followed.

"You're all going to sing Somebody To You as the final performance" Joe told us and we all nodded.

"That will also be closing the show" Fin added.

The five girls, Camila, Lauren, Ally, Normani and Dinah walked onto the stage and got ready to perform our song.

"You were fantastic at soundcheck tonight boys, well done" Dean cheered as we entered his, Joe and Fins room.

"Thanks Dean" Tristan smiled, sitting on one if the couches.

After soundcheck, we spent sometime with the girls, talking about how crazy about how far we've come.

Fifth Harmony started in X-Factor, all separate. They then got knocked back since there wasn't enough room for them. Then, Simon Cowell asked for then to come back but all five of then in a band. After that, they got into the live shows and came 3rd. Now, they have quite a few singles out and they're performing one called Boss and another called Sledgehammer.

After we spent time with then, we all set off and headed back to our hotels because it was starting to get late.

"So, Fifth Harmony aye" Dean said to us all, wiggling his eyebrows.

"I have a girlfriend!" I exclaimed, furrowing my eyebrows.

"I was talking to the others" he laughed before looking at Connor "what about you Con?"

"I don't know" he shrugged "they're cool I guess"

"What about you two?" he then asked James and Tristan.

"Ally pretty cute" James mumbled but obviously, everyone knew what he said.

I stood up and left the conversation before I was dragged into it admitting that one of them were cute.

"Joe?" I asked as I walked over towards him in the kitchen.

"What's up Brad?" He asked furrowing his eyebrows. "You've been acting kind of, quiet, today"

"I know" I mumbled scratching the back of my neck "I've been meaning to ask you something"

"Go on then" he turned and leaning back onto the counter.

"When do we have our days off?"

"Monday till Thursday. Why?"

"It's Anna's birthday on Tuesday. I was kind of hoping you'd let me fly back home to see her"

"We start working again Thursday though" he stated tilting his head a little.

"I know"

"Make sure you're back for Thursday" he smiled

"Thank you so much Joe" I sighed in relief to him saying yes. I pulled him into a quick 'manly' hug before leaving the join the boys in the living room again.
