EPILOGUE

A/N: THIS IS MORE LIKE A TEASER FOR THE BOOK THREE (TAMING THE DARKNESS)

Everything have gone back to normal.

There were a few more attacks happening around the kingdom but it was easily stopped by Zafrix's men.

They had also formed an alliance with the Resistance. And they have come to an agreement that none of them will harm one another, or it will lead to a war. They had also agreed that those who will harm humans will also become their enemies. Whoever they are.

There's a new king in the Vampire realm, one of the purebloods. But Zafrix told them that the Vampires didn't want anything to do with the werewolves. They wanted to live a separate life, and away from them. In short, they had given them the cold shoulder. Vampires will always be vampires.

One thing is for sure, though. The vampires wouldn't want to start another war against them knowing that they have hybrids and the resistance on their side. Also, they had experienced a huge toll because of Vein Ruiz. A lot of innocent vampires died to do his bidding against their will. They were not able to defy him because he has the ability to control all of the vampires.

The remaining vampyrs have been caught as well. Just like what Vein told them, they cannot be cured, and they had already killed a lot of innocent humans and werewolves. They were all sentenced to death.

There is something that was still troubling them, though. They still haven't found Patrick. They didn't know if he is still alive or not, but the werewolves didn't stop searching for him, even if he is already dead.

Sofia was never again visited by that strange presence that she had felt a few months before she gave birth to Kaylum. Iniisip tuloy niya kung guni-guni lang ba niya iyon.

She still has the letter, though. Ang tanging patunay na hindi iyon gawa-gawa lang ng imahinasyon niya.

She really prayed that Patrick is safe out there, somewhere. Half of her is even hoping that he would show himself to her, here, while she is alone.

Maybe, it's time for her to move on... she thought as she slowly ripped the letter and let it fall on the lake.

She is now standing before the lake where she played with her family a few years back. How she wished that Patrick was here as well.

Her heart ache at the memory of him being experimented by Vein Ruiz. This is the same day when she last saw him four years ago. Pale-looking, eyes white against red eyeballs, looking like a mindless corpse.

She opened her eyes and stared into the distance. Sana lang talaga ay maayos ang lagay ni Patrick. Iyon lamang ang isa pa niyang hiling. Ang ligtas ito.

She went back to the castle grounds. A limousine is waiting for her. She is about to go to the nursery, where Kaylum is attending his pre-school.

Their prince is a very smart kid. Napakadaldal na rin nito at napakapilyo.

She get inside the car. Zafrix is busy with his duties. He is having a meeting with the council. Narinig din kasi niyang babalik na sa bansa ang mga Royal Knights na ipinadala nito sa Europe. Mukhang tapos na ang misyon ng mga ito roon.
